Frigidtime pulled away from Solsticetalon. "Geeze, calm down, I'm trying to be friendly, what's your deal? It was never my fault about what happened, you know that." He said to the tom.

Volantstar nodded her head to her Apprentice, she approached the Training Hollow and stopped, seeing that there were no other cats training giving them plenty of space, she padded into it and looked at her Apprentice. "Alright, do you know anything so far? We've battle trained a few times already."

Sparrowcatcher's whiskers twitched. "No, I guess you're right. It's a lot to take in, though." He glanced over at a rustle in the bushes, and immediately crouched. A bird, perhaps. Whiskers twitching, he approached. The wind was blowing towards the creature, so he'd have to be quick. Suddenly, there was a flutter of wings, and he made his leap. A sparrow exploded from the bushes and, with a magnificent leap, Sparrowcatcher slapped it back down to the ground and made a neat, quick, bite to its head. The tom picked it up gently.
"That was quick," he mused. The sparrow fell from his jaws at his paws. "But--if you ask me--I'd say there's no changing it. Why not just accept it?"

Reveriedaze peered into the bushes with her superior sight, seeing that it was a bird, she snapped out of it and watched him leap and catch the sparrow, likely why he had his name, good at catching the prey. "Good job." She mewed to him, her white tail tip twitching. "That's how I view it, I don't see why he doesn't accept it..." she shrugged her shoulders as she continued padding towards the river with him.

Sparrowcatcher dipped his head, accepting her thanks. Before they headed off he scraped some dirt over the sparrow and jogged after her.
"Sorry if I'm a bit slow on this...Thunderstorm is your...brother?" He questioned. He stumbled on a stray pebble and kicked it away. "He doesn't seem a lot like you,"

"No, no, no." She mewed to him, twitching her ear and giggling a little bit. "He's Volantstar's brother, Volantstar is my Mother, Echostorm and Bristlepelt are my brothers." She mewed to him, once they reached the river she stopped at the edge, peering into the depths of the crystal waters.

Echostorm blushed. "I...um...yes!"

Thunderstorm shook his head. "Keep moving. "

Solsticetalon got up and snarled then padded after Thunderstorm.

Confused, Sparrowcatcher bent his head to the water and lapped at the surface, watching the ripples spread out. "I see. Big family," He mewed, with an amused tone. "You must need a chart to keep them all organized," He mused. He erected his head and sniffed around for a source of prey.

Vividpaw hesitated, trying to recall the past battle sessions. "Well I know the major blows, back kick, things like that. So most of the basics. But I'm also not very good at them."

Bristlepelt looked at the patrol in outrage. It felt like the clan was already falling apart even with the rogues gone. He sighed roughly and followed as Thunderstorm ordered.

Frigidtime sighed, he just wanted to be Solsticetalon's friend, he didn't want bad blood between their families forever. "Solsticetalon, please..." he said softly while following Thunderstorm.

Reveriedaze shrugged. "Eh, I guess, I just think our family is doomed to break the rules." She mewed, scratching her ear and then licking her chest, grooming the white fur. "Volantstar and Thunderstorm were born from a rule-breaking relationship too, maybe that's why he doesn't like her, I'm not sure..." Reveriedaze mewed, and watched as a fish swam by. "See, this is a good place to hunt."

Volantstar nodded. "Alright, I'm going to attempt to pin you to the ground, when I do I want you to belly rake me with your hind claws, alright?" Volantstar mewed, padding over to her. "Get on your back." She instructed.

Sparrowcatcher's whiskers stiffened as he looked into the pond. "Uhm, fish? Aren't they all...slippery and slimy and stuff?" His lips curled as he spoke. Those bug-eyed slimy leg less creatures didn't look at all appetizing...
