Anilee 'Ani' || 19 || Airbender || With: Rixi, Thalassa

Anilee listened in awe as Thalassa told her about the penguins. It was a bit of a disappointment that they couldn't go see them now, but she could wait until morning. She got excited once more when Thalassa started talking about the bending platforms and performers. When Thalassa started to move, Anilee was quick to follow after her. However, her pace wasn't as fast as it normally was. They were walking on ice, and after that last time, Anilee didn't think falling down was going to be of much help.
Upon arriving, Anilee noticed that there was quite a crowd already. At first, she didn't think they were going to be able to see anything. But Thalassa motioned for her to climb some ice blocks. Obedient for this moment, she climbed after the Avatar and sat next to her. The show in front of them was stunning. The three waterbenders moved gracefully with the water, as if in a dance. There were no jerky movements to be found. Then, one of the waterbenders broke away from the others, and the show in front of them turned into a battle.
It was slightly worrying for Anilee to watch, but soon, she was able to get over it. In a sense, it was like the kids at the air temples. They would constantly fight each other without producing any real show of harm. The airbender leaned over to Thalassa. "Were you ever a performer in one of these shows?" She asked, her grey eyes reflecting her curiosity.

Absorbed in the scene, Thalassa watched intently as the opposing waterbender began to use the snow at his feet, melting it down to water and streaming it fluidly into quick streaks. Leaning over to listen to Ani as she spoke, the waterbender laughed. "Me? Oh, no, no. The Chief would never approve." she replied with a shrug. It was rather disappointing, to be unable to 'fight' amongst her own people, but Thalassa had been told again and again that proper training would be much more beneficial to her than what the elders called 'play bending'. When she was younger, she was much more stubborn about the issue. Now that she was of age, she could openly go and do whatever she so pleased - but there were still expectations. Besides, it wouldn't be 'fair' for her to fight like this, her being the Avatar and all that. Sighing, she continued to watch as the battle reached its climax. The opposer was sharply shot down with a wave from one bender, and promptly held in place as the other froze the water. The crowd that had gathered to watch cheered and hooted, and Thalassa joined in approval. "That one-" she pointed to the man half-frozen in ice, who was thawing himself free, "is called Bato. The other two are Aria and Yuuki. Master Nuka taught Bato, but girls in the North aren't allowed to learn to fight from the Masters - so they taught themselves." Nodding, she looked down at the two girls as they bowed to the crowd and collected coins in a woven bowl. The pair were to be admired, truly. They were two of the few in the entire Northern Tribe to have learned waterbending so well without a master. When the show was over, Thalassa nudged Ani to leave, and she climbed down from their perch on the ice blocks with grace. Tossing a few coins into the bowl as she passed, Aria - the shorter girl with hair to her waist - smiled appreciatively.

✗ Lady Colibri

-------Too weak to fight, too fond to fly, they yield;
-------THE---NOBLE---WOMAN

---------Tag(s) Rickon
---------Nationally Fire Nation
---------Age 24
-------- Occupation Non-Bender

Gently padding her way down the bustling market of the water tribe, Colibri tried her best to ignore the dark looks and accusing whispers lingered in the air as she past by. Tightening her grip on the wooden handle of her umbrella, Colibri worried her bottom lip subconsciously as she keep her eyes straight a head, looking over most people's head's so as to not see their eyes.

Dark boots shuffled though the frosted cover streets of the market, making a small trail from her starting point from the Spirit pool where she said her goodbyes to Sir Xing, to her current location in the Northern water tribe's 'Sunday' market. Sir Xing had mention that there were many unique items for the few travelers that pasted though their land. From hairpins carved from Ivory bone from different mammals, fabric's and fur's found only in the North, to native sweet shops that line the streets. But it seem like many water tribes the locals were not favorable to a visiting Fire Nation woman in their lands, non-bender or so.

"Most troublesome..." Colibri muttered under her breath as she succeed by a pair of children who ran laughing as they chased each other in the busy street. Flashing the smaller locals a brief smile, Colibri turn her head up just to run into a mass of dark material she was certain was not blocking her way moments ago.

"Oh!" Colibri stopped short of running full force into the man. Giving a soft exhale, the orangenette took two steps back as gracefully as she could before pausing to give a half bow at the waist.

"Please forgive me. I did not see you there."

Looking up from her silent bow of apology she took this time to study the man before her.

He was young she noticed right away. Not so young as he was still a boy, but rather a man with 'boyish' features on his face. He had dark hair, black it seem like many people of the fire Nation, which was odd seeing how he was in the Water Tribe's biggest capital, with long bangs that was swiped to the side, framing his face. His hair was long too, tide off in a low pony tail. Again, a rather common feature seen in the Fire Nation. Many fire bender often wore their hair long to represent the fire that they bended. Wild and untamed, and an element that never seem to stop 'growing'.

He was tanned too-again fire nation. In fact alot of what he was or was wearing (dark clothing with a dark jacket around his broad shoulders) screamed 'Fire Nation'.

Colibri couldn't help but find this odd and some what troubling. Why would a fire bender be here in the north? What business would he have in these frost cover land?

"Why are you here?" Colibri muttered to herself, not realizing that she had said her secret thought outloud.

Anilee 'Ani' || 19 || Airbender || With: Rixi, Thalassa

Anilee, though seemingly watching the performers, kept the majority of her focus on what Thalassa said to her. The chief, Thalassa's uncle, wouldn't approve of her doing this? Maybe it was just because of who Thalassa was, but that still didn't seem right. Her attention was dragged back to the fight as the man was frozen in the ice and the girls won. Ani cheered with the crowd, letting out a whistle. It was really good and exciting to watch. Definitely something she wouldn't get back home now that she had great expectations.
She followed Thalassa off the ice blocks, jumping instead of climbing down. Bending a bit of the air around her, she slowed herself down and landed softly on the ice. As she followed Thalassa, she smiled at one of the girl performers. "You were really good. It was a wonderful performance." She praised. She was back to talking fast in excitement.
Once they left the performance behind, Anilee glanced over Thalassa. She had been processing what the Avatar had told her about girls learning to fight. "You were saying that the masters here won't teach girls how to fight, yes? What about you, though? You're the Avatar, so don't you need to learn this type of waterbending?" She asked.
