What Is Serenity Shelter?
Serenity is a dog rescue. We rescue dogs of all kinds and rehabilitate them to be able to be adopted. Not all dogs have a nice past, such as just being given up to the shelter because their owners couldn't afford to care for them. Some are abandoned. Some were left for dead. But each one is special, and each one is full of love and ready to share it. We give the dogs the best care we can provide, but nothing beats a home that they can call their own. So are you ready to adopt?

{- The mother and pup were found in the back off a couple's yard emaciated and filthy, matted coats. Out of eight pups, only one survived. Now we have them and their health fully restored and ready to be adopted! -}

You may only try out for the pup or the mother. This is an impress me contest, so go all out! You have until July 1st. Also, This competition will be run by Whisky! (Im only setting it up, so please dont get angry and say its "Unfair if i try out for one). Also! Just a heads up, the mother is NOT able to open her eyes

Harley is the kind of girl who is fun loving and almost always in a good mood. Or so it seems. She doesn't like getting her problems, emotions, or mood swings mixed in with others as she believes that it will lead straight to drama, which isn't a bad thing in her case, but too much of it she just can't handle. Harley is the one that most go to when they just want to talk or when they have a problem. She is most trusted with secrets as she knows how to keep a secret, and, somehow, she is really good at earning the trust of others. Most trust her with almost everything, very few don't trust her, and the ones who don't are normally the few that don't like her as well. Harley can tell when someone doesn't like her and unlike most who would make conflict or try and befriend them, rather she stays away from them, not wanting anything to do with someone who doesn't like her. Harley isn't the kind of girl who will wait around for someone to come around. In her case first impressions are dead give aways. And through all of her happy moments she is the one girl you would never want to make angry. Hey, all that emotion she keeps bottled up inside has to go somewhere. And when someone misleads her or stabs her in the back she is right there to defend herself. If you want to take it to the next level Harley will gladly do so. She gets so angry she is terrifying. Expect to be living in pure hell if you ever do something to enrage her. But, despite that, most everyone knows Harley isn't the one who gets angry quickly or jumps to conclusions. Harley is very capable of being serious which is why so many trust her. She is very laid back in all the right moments yet she can always find some way to make to make being laid back a fun thing. The one thing Harley is not, is stuck up and cocky. She always believes that others come before her and everyone is higher on the social ladder than she is; but dont let that fool you. She is still a girl and needs her moments. Despite being very trusted, Harley is also very girly, she hates it if her collar isnt facing right or her fur isnt going the right direction. She is more like a cheerleader: girly at the right times, but can handle pain as well. She is confidant and has high degree of self-respect.

Harley's Favorite type of weather is the next hour after it rains really hard. When the air is thick and smells of rain, when there's fog all around and you feel as if you've just been born and this is the first time you've ever experienced this. The moment when everything just kind of goes away and you dont need anything to help you forget the world, Just a open area surrounded by the world thats calm and healthy. Harley loves being able to escape in a way that wont harm her body, and will still have the same effect on her. and if she looks hard enough, Harley can sometimes see a rainbow that forms. She loves being able to lay in a dewy grass and look up at the sky, and the rainbow tells her "Its okay. The worst has past". The worst being the storm, However, Im Harley's view, The worst is her past. The time that Harley hates the most is when the storm first starts off, Rain, Hail, Lightning, Thunder, twisters, everything. It all reflects back into her past but that moment when its all gone and only a few drops are still sprinkling from the sky, It tells Harley that there's good to come in the future, and for a moment, She is in the future.
