Mintpaw padded out into the forest, night was close to falling and she needed to go with a warrior but she didn't care, she was almost a warrior anyways. Her paws squished against the wet grass and her tail swished behind her, she began humming to herself and wind blew her fur as she went, eyes calm. The overhead canopy blew with the wind in harmony and the sun began falling over the horizon, casting an orange-red-yellow glow upon the sky above the apprentice. She looked up and smiled, fur blowing with the wind once more, a drop of rain splashed on her nose and she chuckled, still walking ever so calmly. After a while, she paused as she smelled something different, the scent that Willowleaf had on her when she died. She stopped dead in her tracks and hid as she saw a white pelt with black spots and a red collar. Ivy! She thought and then Mintpaw zoomed straight for the bushes to hide, eyes wide

Ivy tread through the NightClan forest as if it was her own, stomping down on the wet grass, breaking it down with ease, her eyes were narrowed as if she was angry and she flicked her tail, another scent came into her senses hmm... looks like this is going to be fun she cackled to herself and scanned over the plants in curiousity to find the NightClanner who was hiding from her. Another one to avenge the blind one, eh?

Mintpaw shivered

Ivy saw the bush move and smirked, padding towards Mintpaw

Mintpaw thought to herself gonna die, gonna die!

Ivy let out a battle cry and leaped at Mintpaw with full force, triple-claws extended as she did so

Mintpaw hissed and bit Ivy's neck, watching as Ivy yowled in pain and lashed her claws out at Mintpaw's stomach. Mintpaw grasped her neck, slashing twice with both paws before squeezing down with both, claws ripping through Ivy's fur.

Ivy cackled again and bit Mintpaw's head, the young cat yowled in pain as blood spilled from her, making her weak but Ivy then grabbed her by the scruff and through her into a tree, Mintpaw yowled in pain but got up.The apprentice tried ignoring the pain and leaped at Ivy, biting her leg, Mintpaw was thrown again but pushed back against the dirt with her paws, running at the SpikeClan leader again. Ivy clawed down Mintpaw's eye and she screeched in horror, biting Ivy's stomach with teeth, Ivy leaped at her but was too slow. Mintpaw tried the move that Cocofang showed her and leaped at a tree, turning on her back paws she grasped the bark and leaped back, going at Ivy with full force she landed on her back. The apprentice was not small as she used to be but still far weaker than Ivy.

Ivy let out a yowl and sunk to the ground as Mintpaw bit hard into her neck, reaching the life vein Ivy fell limp and Mintpaw then fell to the ground, eyes wide in fear as she fainted, hitting the ground with a loud thump

"Mintpaw!" After the previous battle Ashpaw had taken a walk to clear he head, and now darted forward.

Mintpaw's body had collapsed beside an unmoving Ivy

No no no no no no... Ashpaw sniffed at Mintpaw's pelt. She's alive!

Mintpaw weakly stared up at Ashpaw, everything a blur as blood spilled from her mouth, "Ash- A- a," she sounded, eyes half open.

The fluffy gray apprentice hauled her onto her back. She began to walk towards camp.

Mintpaw hissed as pain flowed through her, although she was incredibly grateful for Ashpaw's appearance after she had passed out, seeming as if just in time for her
