no but 4kids can go and change their lines, names and make skirts longer but what really angers me about them is that in this one anime they dubbed they made a canonly bisexual character straight. than i ate seven toasters.

A lot of the bigger dubbing companies do stuff like that. It's really infuriating that they think everything needs to be watered down for Americans. This is the main reason, I think, so many people are anti-dub. I'm not one of those people (I have dubs I love) but I do tend to watch the subbed version first, and the dub after.

SOME things I can understand. Like Japan is 99.99% Japanese people, and they can be really insensitive and downright racist towards anime characters who aren't white or east Asian. I get changing that in dubs. I don't get changing characters sexualities. It's pretty offensive, in my opinion, that they don't think American anime viewers can handle a character who isn't their own sexuality.

thank you. but they even showed the scene with him with a girl but they just removed the one with a boy? tbh i am still angry.

and i actually watched pmmm and psg all dubbed lmao.

but that wallet is rad! could I ask, is t&b worth watching for someone who prefers shōjo? bc tbh i'm a nerd that barely watches shōnen.

nitro, i'm p sure they cancelled it bc the death, religious themes and gore that starts.

It's hard for me to say because I'm biased! It's got a more American super hero show feel to it, but it has some really rad major female characters who kick butt and are generally more competent than all the males combined (in fact it tends to be females who end up saving the day in the anime and in the movies). But there's no romance in it, really, if that's what you like about shojo (unless you count the intense bromance between the two title characters haha). But there are some episodes that will literally take you on emotional roller coasters, which I tend to not find in shonen anime, so you may still like it.

However, if you appreciate non-hetero characters (which I'm understanding from your posts that you do) then I think you'd like it just because Tiger and Bunny has a canon agendered major character (Nathan - don't worry, she's not as campy as she looks - she's consistently a well preforming hero and is the CEO of her own company) and a canon lesbian major character (Pao-lin).

For some reason, at least two anime sites jumped straight from four to thirteen dubbed episodes.
