"You're right. I have never heard of that clan before." She meowed, wondering what Fireclan must be like. She giggled at Dusk's insult to his previous clan. "What was your warrior name, if you don't mind me asking." She meowed, looking at Dusk with intrest.

{small note, Dusk does not have a crush on russetstar X3, he just likes to tell the truth, so he told Russetstar he thought she was pretty, but he does not find her attractive in.. a ... mate .. .kind of way? Idk what to call it. But I could give him a crush on Russetstar if you'd want. }

Dusk got slightly annoyed at the sun now, and had his left eye closed to protect it. It warmed his fur nicely so he didn't feel like moving to another spot. "Duskfeather" He replied with a shrug "'cuz off my speciality in hunting birds and my puffy tail that almost represents the softer feathers of a bird." Dusk prefered his loner name though, Duskfeather was such a mouthfull.

"Duskfeather." She muttered to herself, looking at the tom in a new light. "I see why you prefer Dusk then." She purred after a few heartbeats as she looked up at Dusk. "You can have more time to think about joining the clan if you want. I aslo told the patrols to leave you alone." She added. "So you should have your alone time." She meowed.

Dusk wondered what Russetstar was thinking, the memories of his old clan came back in a rush and Dusk wondered what had happened to his siblings. Did they die? Or did they leave aswell? "Yeah, I've noticed that" Dusk replied to the she-cat, remembering the few patrols that had noticed him and sometimes grumpily walked away from him. The sight had made him grin, even though he knew it was ordered to them. "that would be nice, this place is very comfortable to live in. I try not to hunt in your territory though so dont worry about that." He said while his ears pricked from side to side, wondering if anyone might be spying on them.

"Thank you, but we have more territory so it doesn't matter all too much." She meowed understandingly. She looked around and noticed the beatiful setting around them. "I does look lovely here." She meowed after a few heatbeats. I wonder what it's like to live as a loner and not have the responsibility of the clan. She thought to herself.

"What actually had attracted me to your territory in particular, is that it's rather simalar to my old clan's. So I know how to hunt and blend in here, which I had trouble with in other territories. " He shrugged. "though the trees here are harder to climb in, the branches are too high. I like to sleep in a tree you see, but I have to go look for that one special tree that has low hanging branches. It was kind of a nuisance, but I found one eventually. Birds can't fly away upwards, which makes it easier to calculate how they will flee, and easier to catch 'em."He continued, he noticed he had began to ramble again, something he often did when he was in a more lenghthy conversation "Uchum, sorry 'bout that, but uhm.. Were you born here or..? " He wanted to change the subject to her, he had been talking enough for now and he figured it would be nicer if he let her speak some too.

"Oh no it's fine." She meowed. She was rather interested about Dusk as he had a different life style and seemed be rather intellegent and confident. "Well I was actually born a rouge and when I was three moons old my father actually killed my mother, or atleast I think he was my father. Any way. I hid in a fox den for a couple of days till the clan found me and helped me out. Although they changed my name from Rede to Russetkit." She told him, skimping on a few of the details so it wasn't too long.

"Hmm okay, interesting." Dusk replied, he figured Russetstar must be very traumatized by her mother's death, it seemed to be something you can't easily get over. The she-cat must also be very lucky the clan was nearby, and that the fox-den she had hid in was abadoned. He wanted to ask how the death of her mother made her feel, but he figured he might be opening closed wounds and did not want to be responsible for returning grief. "I lost my mother too when I was rather young, she died of greencough in the winter when I was just an apprentice, broke my heart that she'd never seen me become a warrior, guess we have a simalarity there eh?" He chuckled with a sort of sad smile on his face, but shrugged it off and flayed his tail around. "Let's cut the sad stuff, you wanna go do something? I have just eaten so hunting for myself is not necessairy."

"Oh. Well I guess she's watchingyou from Starclan then." She meowed to him when he finishedtalking about his mother. "Yea. It's kind of making me think about the past." She agreed in a chuckle. "Well I believe the fresh kill pile is rather well stoked and prey is plentiful." She added. "Do you want to have a race?" She asked giving a sly smirk to the loner.
