Autumn stared at Russetstar, she wanted to tell him it sounds like he was talking to himself. "Yea.." Was all she could say.

Silverwing hissed and glared at her leader. "Medicine cat thingies!" The generally calm she cat could hardly control her rage at his dismissal. "The herbs, berries and mixed remedies we use save the lives of our clan members, how can you act like its nothing!" Her rage was fuelled purely by hurt that the tom didnt understand the importance of her duties, or even care. "And it's Marigold" she growled.

(Hehehe I love my medi-cat positions and my cats are protective of their position, so Silverwing won't understand about the rejection properly)

Russetstar sat back down, embarrassed as he blushed slightly, "er.. sorry," he apologized and dipped his head, "we can always get... new clan members," he whispered, barely audible and then continued to now calmly click his claws against the ground, "I'm gonna... go get Ivy or something after," he announced

"Sure we can replace any cat, like you, Autumnbreeze, livingdeath, shiver, oh no one is is replaceable Russetstar, every member is precious, if you had kits would you let them die? Or would you want us to try our best to save their lives?" She said trying to convey what it means and how important each cat is.

Russetstar flicked his tail, "I don't wish for kits anymore. It's not my fault blame Rowanpaw," he said simply

Autumn stared at Russetstar, but turned back to Silversong. The bleeding had stopped some but she didn't want cobwebs near her eye. She flicked her ear and her heart felt like led, she was dumb enough not to know Russetstar liked Rowanpaw?

Snowpaw eavesdropped on their conversation and thought, wait... replace?

"Russetstar, you can't blame a cat from your past, you need to stop and think, 'maybe Rowanpaw wasn't the cat for me, perhaps there is a better cat who could love me better than she ever could' and look for her. I promise, she is closer than you think, a cat who would treasure you higher than life itself" Silverwing sighed, and rolled her shoulders, "I'm not trying to loose my temper cause you don't deserve it, but please try and understand"

Russetstar nodded, he was just about out of arguments, "sorry, Silverwing, it's just that the past wasn't too far away," he sighed, wondering what it would have been like without his exile from NightClan. He flicked his burnt tail, "we all make mistakes."
