Wow I've been inactive, but Tipsy's dog looks like a Peke. Correct me if I'm wrong :3

@Stinkende: cardinal, link, and jazi were the ones to rely help me when i started Soph on partial raw, so i would try to talk to themBut, based on my own knowledge when feeding raw you need to feed 6~8 % of their ideal body weight. And that 6~8% should be a 10% meat, 10% bone and 10% organ. But for the first little while you shouldn't include organ, just so th dog's body can adjust.
Before the first raw meal the dog should be fasted for 12 horse. Many people suggest starting with chicken because it is a very mild protean to eat, isn't expensive and the bones are easy to beak/chew. Keep in mind though that chicken organs don't really offer any nutritional value. Eventually, different meats will need to be added in. Any bones except the weight varying bones of large animals are fine to feed (so no cow or horse leg bones). If feeding pork it does need to be frozen at least 3 weeks before it's safe to give.
Meals should be spaced 8 to 12 hours apart.
Good luck!
And also, happy 7th birthday Sophie!! : sniff: she is getting so old...
