~Ranks~
Leader - The cat who leads and makes the important decisions in the clan, although they sometimes get help from their deputy and advisers. They go to the Moontunnel to receive nine lives.
Deputy - The cat who the leader decides to be 2nd in command, often helping the leader with decisions and making patrols. They are usually picked from the elites or advisers, but might be from a "bulk" rank.
Medicine Cats - Since herbs are usually scarce in the frigid weather of Freezeclan, there are three medicine cats instead of one. Other than that, they are just like medicine cats from other clans.
Medicine Cat Apprentices - Medicine cats in training. They often take over for their mentors if they can't do their jobs for whatever reason.
Elites - Cats who, from many moons of assisting their clan, have been decided to be capable of doing any bulk rank job and promoted to this rank. There can only be up to five elites at a time. The elites need to keep being good warriors, otherwise a bulk rank cat could take one's place.
Advisers - Cats who help the leader with decision making, and often join in decision-making meetings with the leader. They can do bulk rank jobs if necessary. There can be only be five cats of this rank at a time. If it is decided that a cat, always an adviser in training, can do the job better than a current adviser, the adviser in training could take over for a current adviser and the former adviser goes to a bulk rank role.
Adviser Apprentices - This is the only type of apprentice where they have to train as a normal apprentice first before becoming an adviser apprentice, if it is decided by higher-ranking cats. They become actual advisers if an adviser dies or isn't as good for the role as an apprentice.
Snow Searchers - One of the "bulk" ranks. Cats of this rank keep tunnels from being blocked by the constant snowstorms, expand tunnels, and sometimes even hunt in the tunnels. They also do search-and-rescue missions or join in border patrols when above ground. These cats must have sharp senses and good endurance.
Fighters - One of the "bulk" ranks. Cats of this rank patrol borders and deal with living threats to the clan such as predators. They also can help hunters take down larger prey. Cats of this rank need a lot of strength.
Hunters - One of the "bulk" ranks. Cats of this rank do all of the above ground hunting. Occasionally, but not often, these cats might help the fighters in battles, usually if reinforcements are desperately required. Cats of this rank need to be quick and agile.
Queens - She-cats that have or soon will have kits. They usually stay in the camp.
Elders - Cats too old to do their duties or permanently injured in a way where they can't do their duties anymore.
Apprentices - Cats that are at least six moons that are training to hunt, fight, or tunnel, depending on what they are training to be.
Kits - Cats too young to do any clan duties. They are required to stay in camp. When they reach six moons, they do assessments to see what ranks they could be in, and from they ranks they can be in, they get to choose.
