Silverclaw woke from her sleep. She slept at Chinchillastripe's grave, just to make sure nobody would destroy it. Silverclaw remembers a loud thud when she was sleeping. Not another murder! She thought. Silverclaw dashed to the camp, just to find Lavaclaw's body near the entrance. "NO! NOT AGAIN!" she screamed shrilly. Silverclaw darted to the body. "L-Lavaclaw? Wake up, please. Please?"

Crookedkit woke up to hear Silverclaw yowl"Whats wron-"her sentence was short as she saw Lavaclaw's Body"No Lavaclaw I wanted you as a mentor"she wailed"what if im next"she freeted

Jackdawpaw rubbed sleep out of his toxic eyes and slipped outside. "What's wrong?" He paused, as he saw the body and raced over, eyes cold. "No. No! Lavaclaw! Wake up!...Please?"

Silverclaw went over to Crookedkit and nuzzled her and smiled sadly. "Don't worry. I won't let you be next. You'll grow up to be a big, strong warrior and find this killer. Okay?"

Gingerscratch Wakes Up From A Good Dream Of A Worry-Free World To The Screek Of Silverclaw. Gingerscratch Sped To The Scream, Frightened To Death. Her Fur Stood On Edge And Her Tail Was Huge. "Wwwwwhat H-h-h-happened???? Is Sh-sh-she D-d-dead? H-h-h-ow? NOT AGAIN!" Gingerscratch Bursted Into Tears. "We N-n-need To Get O-o-others!" As She Said That, She Sped Off In A Different Direction, To Wake Up Everyone. As She Ran Into Camp, She Yelled, "WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANOTHER M-M-M-MURDER TOOK PLACE! WAKE UP!"

Quicktail woke up to yowling, and tiredly got up and walked out of the den. She shook her head to get rid of her tiredness and looked around. Then she saw a dead cat, for the third time in such a short amount of time, considering what it was. She said,"What! But... I thought we got rid of the murderer! How could this happen?" Then, realizing how mouse-brained her question was, she answered herself,"We exiled the wrong cat again..."

Stagjaw was asleep and exhausted when he woke to yowling. Irritation flared in him at first but it was soon replaced by fear. Could it be another murder?! He raced out of his den. He saw the body of Lavaclaw. His legs became shaky and he had to sit down. "Starclan help us... We exiled the wrong cat!" he meowed. His eyes looked beyond sad- they were devestated. So much death! "It's too much... Too much..." he mumbled, shaking his head, hoping that he would wake up, hoping that this was all a bad dream.
