Your post from when it grew doesn't make me think geodes, though. More of some type of sentinal type statue or maybe gargoyles...or maybe Weeping Angels. Their looks don't really make me think geode, either. But, of course, I could be wrong. If they're statuesque at all, though, I don't think I could think of them as anything but Weeping Angels...can't really blink around any statue, you know? xD Too bad we missed it because the detail put into them is very impressive and I can tell that a lot of time and effort were invested when making them, no matter what they are. |D so thank you for the gorgeous, detailed foals. :3

Hehe, just keep in mind that I do love to play mind tricks, so it's not wise to take my words regarding the foals' guardianship too literally.

Well, then...I guess I'll just sit back and watch, too. Based on their looks right now, there's so many things they could possibly be. I was really hoping they would end up being scaly and be dinosaurs but that's ruled out now. xD And I still think fossils would be really cool but I'm doubting that, too. Maybe sometime in the future. :3

No matter what they are, I love that you've made up a whole story for them. Just shows even more how much time and effort you put into them. Did you perhaps get attached from how much you spent on them and decide to come up with the story or was the story in your head as you were making them? =o

A bit of both, actually. I just started working on this litter in a moment of boredom and then things got... More complex than I expected, and by the time I was working on the second outcome I had already got a story in mind for the litter. I grew super attached to these horses because working on this litter helped me develop my digital painting skills in ways I couldn't imagine, as you can see for the detailed look of the foals(I literally painted them pixel per pixel X'D).

Now I'm even more excited for them. And I may have to hoard them purely out of respect for how much work you put into them, as well as the fact that you came up with a story for them. Seriously, they look amazing and your hard work definitely radiates from them, imo...if it's possible for pixels to radiate. |D

I'm still thinking something to do with stars. The first post mentioned seeing 'tiny lights', which could be like stars, they look like tiny lights/glowing dots. A guardian of the stars/heavens, or something that lives in the stars. Like constellations, and which ones that are won't be revealed till their final stages.

I just really like love stars and constellations ok? Star gazing is probably my favourite summer vacation activity, so a star/constellation based litter would be awesome(the only spacey one we've had I can even think of was the planet dogs, and you could make a stretch for the zodiac litter since they're all constellations as well)

I just really like love stars and constellations ok? They look like they're textured in some way to me and it looks like a rough texture, too. owo But as far as space/star litters go, we've had the nebula ponies that were originally on equimagines lines and we've had star/constellation rats. It wasn't a rat litter with outcomes for multiple constellations, though. There's also ricorn's sun dog.

I mentioned the planets dogs already.
I went digging to see this starry rat litter and, it was way underwhelming. 5 pointed star type stars is not really what I was thinking/imagining.
When I mean I see stars/a starry sky I don't mean things with the five pointed star shape(like the rats had), but, when I look at the Milky Way on a clear, dark night. All you see is a wash of tiny glittering specks across the sky, some being larger/brighter than others.
I mean, everyone keep seeing scales but, I don't see scales. Or a stoney vibe really.
We just have to wait and see I guess.

Maybe, just maybe, the black on Nightshades horse is lotus seeds, a lot of lotus seeds that will turn into a lotus blossom....just another guess!!
