I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed."William Earnest Henley- Invictus

Who is she?
Inigo, or Ini as she prefers to be called, is a young, female Omega of the Yusko pack. Before the flood, she was relatively bright and happy, wanting to please others and enjoy herself. However, ever since the tragedy, she's been quiet and reserved, not at all like herself. She's been having chronic nightmares, and thus has not been sleeping for more than an hour or so at a time. She never seeks out other's company anymore, and instead would rather stay on the edge of camp, staring into the trees and lost in her thoughts. She isn't very helpful when it comes to hunting, as she is very small and cannot aid in the tackling of big prey. She can occasionally nab a rabbit, but other than that, she has nothing for her pack. She used to be able to grab fish, as she is a great swimmer, but ever since the flood it's been impossible to get her back in the water. She used to see it as harmless, but after it destroyed her home, she can't help but look at it differently.
Why is she like this?Ini's life was always easy before the flood. She had a privileged life in her birth pack as the alpha pair's daughter, and was ignorant to the suffering around her. Food was scarce in her family's territory, especially in the winter, but she never felt hunger, as the alphas and their children ate first. She grew up and was officially deemed an adult in a ceremony, along with her litter mates, and that's where reality caught her. A wolf in her a pack, a mother, started screaming toward the end of the celebration, crying out, "Why do your pups get to prosper while ours starve?" Inigo was horrified, and her view of her pack shattered, as her eyes opened to the reality around her. The other wolves were skinny, some more than others. The pack's Omegas had left or died long before, but she was too caught up in her own life to notice.
Relations?- None, in-pack, or that she's in communication with.
Romantic Interest?- She's not even remotely interested right now.
Currently feeling?- Lost and guilty.
She was disgusted with herself. She left that night and didn't look back. The first few weeks were hard, but she was strong willed and refused to go back and be treated better than others for no good reason at all. This is how she learned how to swim. She didn't eat the first few days she was on her own, and she was starting to learn what hungry really was. She spotted a pond and stopped to drink, but her stomach needed more. This is when she saw the fish swimming lazily in the water. She had only had fish once or twice, as it's difficult to catch and the water is cold. However, she had always enjoyed swimming, and figured it might be worth to wet fur. She leaped in and snapped at fish for well over an hour, her energy being sapped from her body. She was about to give up when an idea came to mind, something crazy, but also not impossible. She wanted to try and get underneath the water, and dive deeper to get fish. She didn't really know how to hold her breath, but being desperate, she tried. She scrambled and got back to the surface in seconds, snorting water out of her nose. She tried again, failed again, but she was underwater longer this time. She tried again. By the end of the day she had caught two fish, and learned how to get more.
This is how she got by for 5 months, until she joined Yusko, where she was placed as an Omega so she could prove that she was good enough to work her way into the normal ranks. She accepted without question, and helped any way she could. She was only around for 2 weeks before the flood hit, and her practice with swimming paid off. She tried to help others, being as she was one of the strongest swimmers, but it was no use. She didn't save anybody she tried helping, and she nearly drowned with all the extra exertion. She feels incredibly responsible for the deaths of her pack mates, and can't look the surviving ones in the face. She doesn't understand how she can be alive, when there are so many others that deserved it more.
