Mintpaw yawned and padded to Nightfur, "I know you aren't my mentor, but can we train? Haven't seen Cocofang."

Mintpaw's tail waved and she smiled, "cool, I almost never train," she groaned in complaint, "oh well."

Mintpaw smiled happily, "I hope that you can monitor my assessment with Cocofang! So can Honeybee and Rockyfall, maybe, wow, what if Spiritstar came to watch!" She then insisted, "how about we practice, give me a goal to reach for prey, k?"

Nightfur nodded."Catch two fish,one mouse,and a vole."

Mintpaw smirked, "challenge accepted," her tail wavered, "I'll show you whose boss!" She chuckled and leaped off through the forest, heading straight for the lake, three big fish and I bet I won't need to catch a mouse, though I am better at mice than voles. Hm

Mintpaw watched as a fish flickered through the water, careful that her shadow only reached the edge of the water where it was too shallow for the fish to swim. It was small but she supposed, decent. Her stomach rumbled as she flexed her claws, eyes focusing on the water. She suddenly leaned over the edge and slashed her paw right through the water, catching the fish by surprise as it was killed by her claws. A little later she caught a second fish and relocated from her spot in attempt to catch a third
