"And thank you." He smiled and then the rain slowly deceased. Trace picked up his shirt, wrung it out, and put it on. Then he slipped off his bracelets, drying them some, and put them back on. He looked at me, slightly embarrassed. "Er... Where's the nurse...? If you don't mind...?"

"We'll escort you there because the directions are confusing. Come on." I gestured for him to come as I placed a hand on Tabitha's back and pushed her forward.

Trace nodded softly. "Okay." He walking up next to me with a soft limp to his right leg.

"Here, let me help." I slipped under his arm on his right side, helping him stay up. "Did you twist it or something?" I quit pushing Tabitha.
Tabitha fell in line beside me as she wrung out the bottom of her shirt once again. It was more successful this time!

"I'm fine. It's okay. Don't worry about it." He smiled and gently let me go, taking his arm from around me. He smiled.

I shrugged. "Well okay." I smiled at him again. Then I hooked my arm around Tabitha's. "Don't mine Tabitha. She just doesn't talk to people much."
Tabitha quietly looked down.
"It takes a bit to actually start a conversation with her. She talks to cats and dogs and foxes just fine though." I shrugged.
That piece of information made Tabitha's cheeks flush with red, but she still didn't say anything.

Trace looked at Tabitha. He smiled softly. "That's okay. I like cats. Not really much dogs, because they hate me... But I like foxes." He blushed softly and smiled. "They seem to just come to me." He looked away, then glanced up to me. And smiled.

I smiled back at him.
Then I realized that what he said made Tabitha smile.
"Well then maybe you two will get along just fine." I shrugged and then nudged Tabitha playfully. "You hear that, Tabi? They just come to him." I gave her a big smile.
Tabitha watched me quietly. She nodded faintly. "Mhm."

Trace lightly scratched his neck, then his eyes got wide. He immediately stopped and looked around. "Where is it?" He asked, looking around on the floor.
