Name Type: Canonical
Name Reasoning: Doe- would be an unnecessarily gendered subtype of Deer-, which doesn't work for two reasons. The first is that a cat is unlikely to care about the gender of any animal, as Clan culture places very little emphasis on whether you're a male or female - the only difference, in a cat's mind, is that one gender is capable of receiving the -flower suffix. Thus, names like Doe-, Stag-, or Vixen- would be irrelevant, especially considering that they probably can't tell the difference anyway (with exception to the part of the year where stags have antlers).
The second reason is that the normal deer doesn't really show up where the cats are likely to live, especially in the old territories or even around a lake if it's a popular spot for twolegs to wander around. There is a type of deer called the Muntjac that's been introduced to England that could possibly be seen by the Clans, but they're more of a reddish brown color than a torbie color.
As for -shade, I'd really have to wonder what this means. I suppose it could go under -shadow, since they sound similar, and both don't really work out. If it's supposed to mean she's a shady character, that's not a very flattering name to have - suffixes extoll the virtues of a cat, not the vices. If it means that she hunts well in the shade, that would mean she's a good hunter, and thus receives the -whisker suffix. If it refers to the patches of darker colors on her, that's what her prefix should be doing.
Alternative Name: Mottletail/Lichenwhisker. Mottle- and Lichen- refer to a tortoiseshell or torbie (Lichen- referring to lighter colored ones). If she's a better climber than hunter, she gets -tail. If she's a better hunter, she gets -whisker.

Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: I will give you some leeway since she's just a kit and isn't likely to have much of a personality yet, but I heavily suggest that you come up with a few more traits for her (there's a character generator that may offer some you'd like). What personality she does have checks out just fine.

Personality/Skills: As an apprentice Fennelpaw proved to be an agile, with skills at jumping, climbing trees and a notable sense of balance: she rarely fell from trees or anything of height. This also meant she is very good at judging distance, and as such is a good hunter, often being very precise in her movements and not overestimating her abilities. As such, she was named for this and given the suffix -tail. She's also full of energy, and very fond of kits and younger cats of the Clan: when she has nothing to do, she can be found at the nursery or the apprentices' den, playing with the kits or giving the apprentices extra tips on their own skills. Over the moons she's also been seen to help the deputy with the patrols, her copper eyes full of warmth as she speaks to her clanmates, passing on the orders and helping to point out mistakes, if any are made.

He appears more brown to me, but if you're having a lot of trouble, you could go for a grey-brown prefix. I suggest going for a name that doesn't inherently imply a tabby cat, like Tiger-, because that would be redundant. (Note that I define brown, grey-brown, and grey like this, if we're going by tabby coloring.)

Just as a note, light red cats are generally called golden or ginger, since "red" falls under a darker ginger. Actual light red tends to be pink, which...we both know doesn't really appear. Cream also falls under golden; it's juts a fancier way of saying it.

Name Reasoning: I have an undying love of the name Fennel-. I'm not sure why. It just sounds nice. Anywho! This character fits her name to a T, so there's not much to say here.

Character Reasoning: Overall, this cat's well-rounded, with no real conflicting traits. She sounds like she could be a very good deputy or mother, though depending on how old she is, it's unlikely she'll live to become leader, and she might be a little old to be raising kits at this point.

He's an all rounder when it comes to skills, and he has more of a arrogant personality if anything.
