Adopt a Newbie - Moving to new thread

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I've been on the site for a few years now, I have been mainly active with some dead spots in between, I've learnt a lot but I always thought it'd be easier if someone had shown me around
How often do you get on CS?: Daily, and if unable I will provide an email address - that way I can talk to people without using a lot of data on my phone
Which categories would you like to apply for?: General knowledge or BB Code, whichever you think needs someone else more
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: I always have it open, in another tab, and check it frequently. However, I live in the UK and therefore timezones may come into effect
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course, it seems only natural

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: I'd like to help out newbies so they can get to know CS better.
How often do you get on CS?: at least 2 hours a day.
Which categories would you like to apply for?: I'm pretty good about knowing about oekaki, although I am a bit better at the general knowledge. I'm not too great at BBcode. I also kind of know about rarities.
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: Posting on forums and drawing c: If it says I'm online, it's not always right. I may be outside or something like that.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?: Chicken Smoothie is a wonderful place, made possible with all these wonderful members. Without these members, CS couldn't be what it is today or what it will be tomorrow. I find a joy in CS I find in few other places, and newbies should be able to have this joy as well. I want to make sure that CS will always be like it is now, and so I want help share that joy and train a newbie that will always treasure CS. I know many newbies who didn't have help and had trouble adjusting to CS and never really got any less awkward and so I want to help newbies so that they don't feel the same awkwardness for too long.

How often do you get on CS?: I get on CS every day c:

Which categories would you like to apply for?: I am applying for General Knowledge, Forums, BBCode, Oekaki (see my gallery, I have about 130 drawings), and Trading and Pets.

How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?: On weekdays, I normally get on one to two hours and on weekends I get on three to five hours. These times, of course, exclude vacations and family emergencies and such.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course! Without our help, some newbies would be lost and unable to fully enjoy CS! I definitely agree c:

People usually bump topics. For example, lets say somebody is quitting, and giving away his/her pets for free. So users who want pets from the quitting person, they usually write bump. Or if you want a topic to show more times on the home page, not only when you write actual sentences, but you want more people to see the topic, then that's also a time where people bump.

Why should you be able to adopt a newbie?:
I have been on CS for several years now and I know all the rules, ropes, pitfalls and tricks of this website. I will be able to pass this knowledge to the newbie that still has allot to learn and guide them so that they won't fall for tricks that I, and many other new now older players, have fallen for. I also consider myself very patient with people as I have had many different experiences with many different people already on this website.
How often do you get on CS?:
I usually get 5+ hours every day on week days unless I have some sort of big event, competition, or exam coming up. Plus the occasional mood-swings I have where I just want to be alone for a day. On week-ends I will be on at the minimum 1 hour and at the maximum about 4. I am very busy during those days...
Which categories would you like to apply for?:
I would like to apply for General Knowledge.
How long do you typically spend on CS each day you get on?:
Week days: 5+ hours
Week ends: 1-4 hours
*Time depends on projects, events, tests, sports competitions, ext.
