he was a knight and he had a mate that he loved dearly,
she was killed in front of him and just a lot of horrible stuff happened so his mind just sort of blocked off the memory of his past, so he is just kind of wandering around when these guys see him, capture him, and train him to be an assassin and torture him, yada yada, he only remembers being an assassin but like at night, he sometimes hears her voice in his dreams, but he doesn't know it is his mate's voice, other times he has nightmares of what happened, but it is just blurs and he can't really make out any details. He knows the necklace is from his past and that i must have belonged to someone he cared about but no matter how long he looks at it he can never remember

Character personality or info: Chan-juan had to rescue her son when he was just an infant. Her attempt was successful but left her a physical reminder - a notch in her left ear. Her son, Jin, grew into a playful, curious cub who had a knack for getting into trouble - but never strayed out of earshot of his mother, rarely leaving her side. He plays the tough-guy, but he is a bit of a fraidy cat. Chan-juan does her best to help boost his confidence, but at the same time, she knows how dangerous their jungle home can be and knows better than to expect too much of him too soon, or even to make him think that she expects more of him before he's mature enough. Jin tries to impress his mother, often ending with her rescuing him from a tall tree, a mudhole, or an angry brush-tailed porcupine.
