- All CS rules apply to this species and all affiliated with it.
- Artists Applications are ALWAYS open, please use the form above to apply.
- Disrespect towards Staff or Adopters of the Gwyndor Family is not tolerated.
- Rehoming Gwyndors is allowed. You may trade them for other designs (species or otherwise) or sell for other game currency. You may not sell for real money.
- You are not allowed to bribe artists.
- Do not ask for a specific artist to do your breeding.
- You may have unlimited Gwyndors, but please put effort into any you do own and don't let them sit and rot.
- If you want a Custom, please see the Custom Thread for Information and Rules regarding Custom Gwyndors. Customs are currently Closed.
- The number of pups in a litter is determined by the Artist following the Species Guidelines, please do not beg for more.
- You may add non-permanent accessories to your Gwyndors for role playing purposes, but wings, magic abilities, etc are never allowed. Ask if you're unsure.
- You may collab adopts with other artists.
- Any colors that appear naturally in nature are allowed.
- Markings should fall within the realm of possibility, in other words no road signs, symbols, hastag type markings.

- The adopt me sign must be removed when the Gwyndor has found a home.
- Please have a deadline on all available designs, so that there are none just hanging out. If there are no potential adopters by the time the deadline is up the design will become a temporary NPC and we will try again at a later date.
- We would prefer if you did not do your own pup designs if both parents are designed by you.
- Gwyndors never ever have more than one tail, but may have more then one set of ears.
- Line edits are allowed, but all line edits must fall within the realm of possibility and adhere to the Gwyndors guidelines.
- They can have as much or as little hair as you wish and hair may be styled (braided, dreads, etc).
- Main Thread Gwyndors are free to adopt and should remain so. Customs will work differently, please see the Custom Thread for more information.

Gwyndor ins and outs
Habatat Gwyndors live in an environment similar to Alaska's Tundra, only with more trees. The winter's are cold and dark and the summer's are sunny and warm. Spring is spent frolicking and getting into trouble. Summer is about finding a mate, gaining weight for hibernation and picking a spot to build a home or refurbishing an older den. Fall is spent adding last minute touches to any den and foraging for any last minute fat reserves. Winter is spent hibernating, females give birth during this time.
Lifestyle
Gwyndors are hardy heavy built canine like carnivores. Their diet consists of small/large mammals and insects. They can eat plants, but most greens offer nothing substantial. They can be head strong and stubborn. Gwyndors spend Spring and Summer in the open, hunting caribou like creatures and small mammals. Dens are built in tree roots and in the cracks of natural rock formations.
Breeding
Mating takes place in the mid summer. The average litter size is 1-4 Gwynies. Gwynies are weaned at a year old, but family units tend to stay together in packs, although either gender may leave and start their own family at any time or start a family and rejoin their original family unit. Building is late summer to mid fall. In Winter Gwyndors hibernate, females give birth and nurse their pups in these dens until Spring. Dens can be clustered together or shared with more then one female. Female's who are not expecting may build a den together or den alone. Male's den in a similar fashion, either together in groups or alone.
Genetics
Colors: Gwyndors may be any naturally occurring color and markings must fall within the realm of possibility, so no symbols or words are allowed.
Hair: No restrictions, however hair may only be styled using naturally found items from their environment such as grass, clam shells, bone etc.
Tails: If the parents have different tails there's a 75% chance the Gwynie will get either Mom or Dads, a 20% chance of getting any of the tail options, and a 5% chance of no tail at all.
Ears: If the parents have the same ears the offspring will get those ears, if the parents have different ears the offspring have a 30% chance of getting both ears or a 70% chance of getting one or the other.
