Status; Like I already stated, I'm the archivist for Piggles. That doesn't stop me from adopting, though! c:

Piggles owned; I'm a nonowner! I don't own a single Piggle, though I have tried out for a couple and know each one by name. I'd love to own one, though, and I think that this girl is the perfect first Piggle!

Name; I would name this lovely girly Tethys! The Tethys Ocean was an ancient ocean that had gotten closed up shortly after Pangea split apart (although "shortly" is more like a hundred million years). I love the word "Tethys" and I think that it makes an awesome name, especially for an ocean-based Piggle like this girl <3

Gender; Tethys is female! For several reasons: she looks like a girl, she has a (sort of) girly name, female was the required gender... so many great reasons!

Why Tethys has a starfish; Tethys' starfish is very special to her. When she was a young Piggle (a Pigglet?) she lived near a beach. It was a rocky beach, full of tide pools, not one of the sandy ones you always hear about. Tethys would often go down to the tide pools at the beach during low tide and look for life: hermit crabs, sea urchins, and small fish were among her favorites. But Tethys thought that the best ocean creatures were the sea stars she found. When she moved, she took a dry one she had had for years and made it into a necklace to forever remind her of her favorite ocean home.
