I keep looking at the horse newborns and wondering what they might be. Right now they look a bit like statues, but they also remind me of earth/dirt - maybe we'll have something growing? Interesting, interesting...
I think they may be statues and the eye is not closed, just unpainted.
I've seen a couple of people mention this theory, and the reason I don't see them like that is because while the bottom of the lid is well defined, the top isn't. If it was an open eye, you'd be able to clearly see where the eyelid opened up to the eye. Also, a lot of the time on statues they still carve an iris/pupil. Even if that isn't the case though, the top of the eye just doesn't have a dark line like the bottom does, so it doesn't look open at all.
She/her, irregular hours but I'll try to get back to you as fast as I can

Maybe it is a statue, but it's sleeping, only waking up after it has grown.
I need EPPS horses.
Please.

Maybe they're sleeping weeping angels and that's why their eyes are closed. :B

Mhh, May wasn't my month, but I'll watch these pets now C:

- So far the style looks like 2008 pets and there are lots of dots :3

- Very nice colours. Hoping for three different outcomes (yes, only three - one for each colour we can see on the newborn, nothing more. Let me hope for more common litters :C).

To me, these guys look like some sort of rock that is about to crack open.
This is bituminous coal:

"Bituminous coal is a dense sedimentary rock, usually black, but sometimes dark brown, often with well-defined bands of bright and dull material; it is used primarily as fuel in steam-electric power generation, with substantial quantities used for heat and power applications in manufacturing and to make fuel."
This is diorite:

"Diorite is a plutonic rock that is something between granite and gabbro. It consists mostly of white plagioclase feldspar and black hornblende ...Typically, sodic plagioclase is the bright white variety albite, giving diorite a high-relief look. If a dioritic rock is erupted from a volcano (that is, if it is extrusive), it cools into andesite lava."
These are my only two guesses as of right now, until we have another outcome.

It also looks like it could be basalt perhaps. But maybe it's just because I'd love a volcano litter and I'm seeing what I want to see ;P
