Fallenheart looked over at Larkstar surprised to see her talking to him. She wanted to talk to him alone. there was a small glimmer of hope that maybe she would tell him that she trusts him. He sighed and nodded following the she-cat. He looked around the camp. There was chatter but it was quiet. The camps been quiet for a while. Fallenheart stopped when she did and when she turned to look at him he spoke first. "Yes Larkstar?" he said sitting his distance his tail curled around his paws and head tilted slightly wondering what it was she had to say.

EBONYPAW

Ebonypaw sighed his head low. He was lying down near the entrance because He liked to watch the cats walk in and out with news. He would be the first to see because he could run up to them before others did. He looked over at Ivypaw who had ran up to him with a mouthful of words. "Yes it is late, yes I would like to do something. A patrol does sound good. " he smiled and stood up stretching so his front paws were on the ground and feet in the air. Then he leaned forward to stretch his back feet out. "Or we could just go explore like we did when we were little." he suggested.

ˡᵃʳᵏˢᵗᵃʳ was glad he didn't deny her request to talk. Leading Fallenheart into her den, she couldn't help it anymore. She stepped toward him and buried her muzzle into his shoulder, closing her eyes. She knew she had to be a strong leader, and show the clan that she wouldn't let Fallenheart get away with a crime if he was the killer. But down in the depths of her heart, with every hair on her pelt, she knew it wasn't him. For one thing, he had no reason. He was the deputy, a respected cat. And he was good to the core. She sighed. "Sorry. I just hate being like this. The Clan wants me to punish you for something you didn't do. I know how betrayed you must feel by them." In her head she thought And by me.

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷ felt her fur warm up, happiness finding its way to her heart again. She purred, "Exploring sounds cool. We could always keep an eye out for anything suspicious without going on an official search." She figured they should ask the leader, but Larkstar was alone with Fallenheart, and she didn't want to intrude. "Let's go, my brave adventurer."

Fallenheart was surprised she opened up. His heart nearly skipped a beat he was so happy. But at the same time he was disgraced, with himself for feeling betrayed. Actually thinking she was mad at him. He sighed trying to let the happiness get the best of him and licked her ear. "I am sorry. Everything I do looks like I am doing it I wish there was a way to prove to you that I was innocent." he sighed glad she believed him. "Your doing the right thing. Your being more than generous to me and I am grateful for that. Don't let me stop you. Do whatever you can to protect the clan even if it means making me leave the clan. " he knew she wouldn't have him leave the clan. But things could get worse and if this doesn't stop, she would have to do it or the clan would think she was weak. Hopefully that doesn't happen.

EBONYPAW

Ebonypaw waved his tail tapping hers and nodded. "Exploring it is!" he said nodding approval of her statement. He sighed following her out of the camp. he breathed in the thick damp air his paws already getting wet from the humidity. He ran, running around trees, jumping over logs tripping once or twice. He looked back feeling as if he was a kit again sneaking out of the den with her to explore 20 feet out of the camp. He felt like such a dare devil when really a warriors could walk that far in ten steps, grab them, then walk back like it was nothing and carry them back..... he couldn't keep thinking. Everything lead to his mother. He already needed her. No one to run to in the middle of the night when he should be sleeping, no one to keep his fur clean even though he was an apprentice.

ˡᵃʳᵏˢᵗᵃʳ listened to him speak, stiffening a little when she thought of him leaving. She looked at him again. "You know that if you left, I would too. We saved this Clan, remember? In the Great Battle, you were the one beside me. If the Clan has forgotten that, perhaps they don't deserve to have you." She glanced toward her den entrance to make sure no cat was listening. "I had my doubts about Nightfrost, but he is very convincing. Even if he is the killer, the Clan would never believe it. They would have to see the blood on his claws." She frowned, sitting beside her mate and wrapping her tail around her paws. "If I only had more evidence."

ᶤᵛʸᵖᵃʷ ran out behind Ebonypaw, her paws reaching further as they sped up. She also remembered their kit adventures, but tried to block the painful memories. She figured Ebonypaw would be thinking the same thing, so she tried to distract him. "Hey, Ebonypaw, if you could pick your warrior name, what would it be?" The two apprentices weren't far from having their ceremony, and she couldn't help being a bit excited.

Fallenheart glanced over at his mate. "I was the first to see him. A little apprentince acting so mature as tough I wanted to laugh. He demanded to see you and I messed with him until he said please." Fallenheart laughed them frowned in the middle of it almost breaking down. "It took me till sun down to get him to say it. " he sighed wishing it wasn't Fallenheart.

EBONYPAW

Ebonypaw slowed his pace to try beside her at a steady pace. "A warrior name? " he looked up at the sky as if he was thinking. "Ebony heart. After my mother. " he smiled them stopped and sat down. "It hurts, talking about her. But trying to forget her is even worse. I'll get over it so don't try to make me change subjects. I want to keep her spirit alive even if it's in Starclans now." he smiled again then changed subjects just wanting to get it out. "What do you want your warrior name to be?"

Rosepaw was his best friend." Not happy was an understatement. She wouldn't be surprised if the apprentice cried for some payback.

Her mother had post natal depression, which meant she never really cared about Ivypaw, but Ivypaw still loved her. She just wished her mother would love her back. Shaking that thought aside she said, "Ivytail. It just sounds right." She shrugged. "Ebonyheart sounds really good, though. It suits you." She wondered what Larkstar would say if Ivypaw asked her to give Ebonypaw that name?
