There are housing limits EVERYWHERE. Even if you own your own home most counties have a dog number limit. Most landlords have pet limits. You say you want another Akita and a BT and a working GSD on top of Kiba and Wolfgang... that is already over the housing limits in my current location. Adding Addie would be further breaking the law... a good way for you to get ALL of your animals taken from you. And trust me, my AC has done so.

Where I live, the limit is....I think either 5 or 7. I think Misty and Marty are legally assigned to my mom's house, so I could get 3-5 more dogs if I wanted to.

Who says you're going to stay there your whole life?

Let's have some situations that could definitely have happened with me, the person who's set to take care of Mocha if something happens to my parents:

I once lived in a 3rd floor apartment. They were willing to make pet exceptions for me with my deposit HOWEVER there was no elevator. Mocha has hip dysplasia. There is absolutely no way I could have owned Mocha in that apartment. She would not have lasted a week with those steps.

I will now be living with an SSA female doberman. She will literally kill just about any female dog that lives in her house just because. I cannot have Mocha in that house. She would be killed by this dog. It would be a ticking timebomb and a bloodbath waiting to happen.

During the time that I had Skoll I had literally zero extra money to spend on an animal. It would not have been an ideal situation due to Skoll's instability, but I coul have made it work. However I would not have been able to afford feeding her or providing her basic needs because all of my money was being sucked into all of the work I was putting into Skoll.

In my ideal dog situation I will have two personal dogs and a foster. I will probably not be able to afford a 4th (Mocha). Let alone the fact that I'm also the person that would handle Titan, Baby, and Buster as well if something were to happen to my sisters. I'm definitely not going to be able to afford 7 dogs let alone properly care for that many, and that's over my county limit besides.



This is what we're talking about when we say there are no guarantees in life and the future is so so changeable. I don't have a crystal ball. If the people who are now agreeing to take in your dogs were to fall onto hard times, things change. If they decide they don't want to deal with the dogs after a brief time of living with them, things change. If something happens to them too, things change.

Yes, but a lot of these situations are not very likely. Either way, my animals come first. They are my main priority.

Until you've actually been saved by animals ough, I wouldn't expect you to understand. I am not going to go into details there though, because I don't feel like being labeled an attention seeker.
