Question
where do you guys get ideas for coding?

I've only recently started coding a bit and I've completed a few forms but now I'm just frustrated. Everything I create seems the same >.>;

where do you guys get ideas for coding?
honestly, I don't even know. I have a lot of resources just lying around, and I just slam em together to make something pretty.
I usually base a lot of my coding off of images, though. if the image is fun, I'll make the coding fun, if the image portrays the feeling of elegance, I'll make my coding elegant in one way or another.

i was kind of reluctant to join because you've already been together for a year now
and i get nervous when joining old groups. //sorry

who do you stalk?
tons! most of the people here and a few others.
a few that i have bookmarked are minho, wallflower, drift, shay, brittle, deer, reasonable, valkyrie, indefinite
and a few others i can't remember now and too lazy to check.
but i open any character storage thread i can find, really ;u;

where do you guys get ideas for coding?
i usual do my coding to match my character's personality and reference image.
but i get ideas from other people's coding or things i've seen on the internet.

where do you guys get ideas for coding?
for character forms, I tend to base my forms off the reference image. if it's not black and white,
I'll use this awesome website to generate color palettes bc I possess no actual creativity. I use the
darkest color for the bulk of the character description, the lightest color for borders and decor-
ative images/whatnot, and the boldest color to highlight things. regarding the actual layout of
the form, I just experiment around with fonts and dividers and try to come up with something
that looks good, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't if you see how ugly some of my
coding can be. I find that's easiest to work with an image that's a lot taller than it is wide, so if
I have a small picture I'll put lyrics at the top and bottom. oh, and I also look at other people's
coding for inspiration. :U
