I smiled and nodded. "It took a while, but I finally found that large speck behind his ear." I say with a giggle. I pause as my smile fades. "What do you think Tau would say if he knew?" Maybe the large lion wouldn't mind, I didn't really have a place in Luka's pride, I'd just be in the way.

She hated being the center of attention. " I'm going to cool off... ", Lira jogged off back farther into the territory. She felt better now that he said it was 'fine' and that she didn't have too many pair of eyes on her. She sat on the trunk of a tree facing the other way from the group. She had been a loner too long. They think I am acting like a cub.

Sahala looked at the lioness with faint surprise. "Wow." She murmured casting a glance over her shoulder to check where their king was. Not seeing him, she turned back to Sarina. "I'm not sure if he'd bother to be honest. If anything he would be happy to know that you would be no use to Luka and stay here." She shrugged and looked away. "I wish it were as simple a choice for me."

"To be honest, I don't think I wanna be in a pride that's enemies with my brother's.." I say, shrugging and noticing how Luka plopped down miserably. "Follow up question." I pause with a small smirk. "How mad would he be if I got him to come to the edge of the border?" I say, knowing Tay would flip his lid, but I really did want to talk with him, but I didn't want to get Sahala in trouble and have Tau think she was responsible. If it came to that I would take the heat, he can't punish me for speaking to my brother, I don't think..

Sahala chuckled as Sarina asked her the question of how mad Tau would be if he found out they had spoken with Luka. She thought over it for a moment before replying. "I don't think he'd be that bad, I mean. I've told him how I've been thinking about swapping prides and whatever and he didn't flip out that badly." She smiled, getting to her paws and stretching out her legs.

I perk my ears as I hear a call and look up the hill to see Sahala, and another lioness. I slowly get up and trudge up the hill, stopping at the edge if my border and sit, looking at her. "Yes?" I said in a low voice.

Sahala shuffled her paws as Luka came over to them. She felt nerves flooding through her body as she realised that he probably would be surprised to see her. She glanced across at the lioness beside her and let out a long breath trying to calm herself. Sahala dipped head in greeting. "Luka, this is Sarina. I believe she wishes to speak with you." The lioness kept her tone polite as not to suggest anything.
