Flamepelt pushed him off and went under him, he pushed the apprentice's left hind leg then the right, making him fall. He leaped Shadowpaw after he was down, put his large paw on his neck and held it tightly. he put all his weight on the apprentice.

Ravenpaw looked at Tigerstripe's shoulders but then aimed for his paws. Ravenpaw unbalanced his mentor and pinned him.

Shadowpaw went limp and closed his eyes, pretending to be dead. He also held his breath to make is convincing.

Flamepelt purred he stepped off, pretending to be shocked. He got ready for the apprentice's next move.

Shadowpaw knew to play dead until the enemy got concerned and padded up to you. That, or they just ignore you and walk away.

Ravenpaw made himself slam hard into the ground. He also knew how to play dead, but he could do it better than Shadowpaw.

Ravenpaw had even earned himself the nickname 'Raven Road-Kill' when he was a kit. He stayed still, not moving, blinking, or breathing. Even his whiskers didnt twitch.
