£ felt the edge to bolt after her, but I didn't and sighed. I stood there for a second watching as she ran away. I was now alone again no one to talk to. I give a call to the lioness but then I stop midway not wanting to annoy her since she wasn't in my pride.

Tau stopped rubbing against her when she didn't answer his question. He huffed, pushing himself to his paws. "So I guess I'm not good enough, huh. Tell me.. what can I do to make me good enough, Sahala?" He spoke, his hard gaze on his queen. The king flicked his tail, showing slight agitation. She didn't like being at his side, but he didn't want her to leave him. He would do anything for her to stay with him.

Another yawn escaped the queen's muzzle, Bast stretched herself out in the tall grass. She flicked her tail, peering through the tall blades of grass as she examined the pride. She noticed Luka speaking with Lira then an unknown lioness run away from Saphira. Silently, she wondered what was going on in the pride lands. With a soft sigh, she pushed herself to her paws. Curiosity had gotten to the best of her.

I look at Lira and frown angrily. "Well if you're going to leave anyway then leave now." I say with a deep growl, those words were something you never told your pride king. I look over to Saphira and the other lioness and stand, getting away from Lira and jogging over to her. "Saphira, who was that?" I say, watching the rather large female as she took off.

I pause and look back at the lioness, seeing Luka now standing by her side. I let out a sad sort of call, like I was sad to leave her. My heart was beating out of my chest as I sigh and continue running.

"Uh well she said her name was.. sarina." I say this lowering my head. I wasn't sure if he was mad or how he felt about this. My ears flickered as I looked up at him.

Lira had tears welling up in her eyes. This has never happened to her before. Anger bubbling up in her chest, she let out a furious roar, and cleared a few yards with only a few strides, jumping over the occasional shrub. She was now at the edge of Luka's territory. All she needed was a little more respect than that. Unsure what to do, she layed on the border between Luka's and the other pride's territory. Tears still formed in her eyes, but none spilled out. Lira would stay here the whole night, waiting until everything had calmed down before doing anything else.

I nod and sigh, too angered and frustrated to address Saphira's speaking to the other pride's lioness. I begin to walk away, trudging down the grassy hill and taking a walk to clear my mind.

As I enter to the main part of the territory, I lay down and sigh. I lay my head on my paws and flicked my ear and tail. It seemed Tau had picked his favorite lioness, and it was Sahala. I lay over on my back and let my stomach get warm and bask in the sun to dry my worries away.

I was mad at myself I should of known better. I looked at luka as he walked away. I wanted to join him on his walk but I felt he was to angry at me so I sighed. I walked towards the other lionesses in our pride and laid under a tree. My head was on my paws, and my eyes were big and hazel full of innocence and sadness at the same time. I knew I had angered him and I regretted every bit of it. From now on I would do anything he said and never disobey luka. I hoped he would forgive me and waited for the tension to die down as I just sat there waiting, listening, and watching.

For a few more moments, Bast watched as things played out. The other lionesses seemed to be disobeying and upsetting him. Flicking her tail, she pushed forward to follow after Luka. She did not like to see him upset and wanted to comfort him. "Luka." She murmured in a soft tone, hoping the king wouldn't snap at her for bothering him. If he wanted to be alone then she would return to the center of territory and allow him to relax. Gently, she rubbed her side against Luka's and licked his cheek in an attempt to comfort him.
