Dakota jumped at the stallion nosing her. She didn't expect it to be a stallion. The mare had thought it was another mare, but supposedly not so. She took a wary step back away from the stallion, but eyed him curiously. The mare sniffed him curiously and started to walk towards him.

Soon, a palomino stallion came to view. It was a bachelor like Pride, and the mustang stallion was happy to have found another horse. This male was several years linger than Pride was, and seemed to be injured a well. Perhaps he was attacked at well. Pride had a few marks on his neck and flank from the fight he had with Pandemic, but his worse injury was the kick he received to his leg which caused him to become temporarily lame. He slowed to a halt and reached out, greeting the other male. He gave the stallion a small nudge with his nose and let out a soft snort, a group of bachelors had attacked him and had driven him away. He was upset, but in his condition he just couldn't do anything about it right now.

seeing the mare was cautious of him, spirit stepped back, lowering his head and snuffling the ground to show he was of no harm to her. his bright eyes watched the mare carefully as she made her way towards him. he stretched his neck out and gently lipped her shoulder.

gold returned the gentle nosing, feeling a pang of sympathy for the stallion before him. while gold had only lost a single mare, whom he had not known long, pride had lost a whole herd that he had most likely formed bonds with. gold looked at pride and saw his injuries, those given to him by harsh bachelors. unfortunately, that was how it worked in the wild. trying to be helpful, gold reached over and cleaned the bite marks on his neck.

Pride flicked an ear towards Gold, though he didn't mind what the stallion was doing and did not stop him. It seems like they have both lost something important to them, but hopefully that would change in the spring. Next spring Pride would have recovered, he was unsure if he would be able to get his old harem back but he could always go after other herds and try to start a herd again. He was sore and tired, his leg hurt and he would be lame for some time but he will heal. He began to groom Gold's shoulder, his tail flicking occasionally.

Dakota lipped his shoulder back. The buckskin then began to move her nose along his back. As she did so, it slowly began as a grooming. The mare snorted softly, her warm breath billowing out onto the stallion's fur. She then gently began tugging his mane in a teasing way.

spirit closed his eyes happily as the mare began grooming his dun back. his eyes fluttered open as she pulled on his mane. with a light snort, the stallion lipped her shoulder playfully, cantering in a circle around her. when he saw winter, spirit of the west turned back to dakota and nosed her rump, asking her to be a part of his herd.

gold allowed the stallion to groom his back. he let his tired eyes close as he cleaned his wounds, a sigh escaping his nostrils. he opened his orbs and nosed pride's shoulder, wondering if he wanted to move. they were in the middle of nowhere, and pride, being noticeably older than gold, would act as the leader, and would decide where they went. it was up to the skewbald stallion to choose where they would go.

ricochet's eyes fluttered open as frost moved away, off to scold the two young fillies. ric knew it was his job, but the paint mare just wished he could calm down a bit. now, having the energy, ricochet trotted up to frost until she stood beside him, pressing her poll into his shoulders as if to say 'let them go, they just want to have a bit of fun.'

Pride was tired and sore, and Gold seemed to feel the same way. When the other stallion nosed him, he pricked his ears and looked around, changing location would be a good idea, they were standing out in the open and he don't think that this was the best place for them to be. He thought about going to the valley, there were trees there for shelter if they needed it, plenty to graze on and water for them to drink. It seemed like a good place to go, so he decided to lead Gold there. He gave his tail a flicked and nudged Gold with his nose before turning and beginning to walk in the direction of the valley.

(A group of bachelors have attacked Pride and he lost all of his mares to Pandemic who was the leader of the group. Pride was injured and he found Gold and the two are currently together, and I believe that's it...)

Windy night grazes. Every now and then glancing over at her foal playing with breeze, and the herd. She perked her head up looking at all of frost's mares, she wanted a friend, a mare she could talk to. Right now she practically just knew her foal frost. She walked to the outskirts of the herd to graze. She didn't know anyone so why be in the middle of the herd. Occuasionally she would look back at her foal, Electric Wind, and watch her play with the younger filly, Breeze.

Electric Wind neighed to breeze, then came to a sudden halt when she heard frost whine. She turned around as she watched him approach. Electric wind didn't realize how far they strayed from the heard. "Oh sorry we were just playing." Electric wind said embarrassed. She bowed her head as she ran back to the herd, when he said it was dangerous she wondered what the dangers were. She trotted alongside her mother which was grazing along the outskirts of the herd.
