wait which one is shorter. bc most of the popular shonens have like 926391739394738 episodes.

i mostly watch sub, but I watched all of psg dubbed because the dub is funnier in op. and occasionally I watch the zexal dub just to laugh at 4kids' failure.

2003 is 13 episodes shorter than 64-episodes Brotherhood. The manga, meanwhile, has 108 chapters, which is a lot, but unlike most popular shounens FMA actually has an ending.

but anyway, should I watch the 2003 v or brotherhood?

YES YOU SHOULD.
Watch 2003 first, because most people did.

...Just out of curiosity: peoples of this thread, do you prefer dub or sub? I'm mostly a dub person, but I'll watch sub sometimes.

I don't know which one I prefer. I watch both, but if I watch the sub of an anime I'm not going to switch over to dub any time soon.

I watch sub, I never watch dub. Ever. :3 I love hearing Japanese [don't question me] and I really want to learn it, so watching subs help me understand Japanese words. owo

i prefer sub. i enjoy hearing the language and the original voice actor is always more fitting than in dubs in my opinion. and i can learn some words and phrases too.

I've managed to pick up a few words from watching subs, but the problem with attempting to learn Japanese that way is that Japanese people talk way too fast. X3 Or is it just me...

They do! Welp, the one word that I most definitely learnt from Fairy Tail is "Urusai," which means shut up and "maho", magic.

Dub and sub work for different things, like dub works for Fruits Basket, not sub.
