Why do you like Cottonwood Ranch?: I love it! I only have three horses from there, Bellesa de Destiny, My Little Angel(the bay paint), and Meledepel, but I'm hoping to adopt more in the near future!
Would you make any improvements/changes?: I would widen the range of colours our horses are. There seem to be a lot of Paints and Appaloosas, but I'm not seeing a lot of solid colours or Roans anymore.
What do you wish to see more of horse/color/breed wise?: I would love to see more draft horses, and more ponies. I would also love to see more Roans, Dapple Greys, and Flea-bitten Greys.

I'm so excited!!! I have plenty of human riders and animal companions I can use as well. Will there be a limit on how many characters we can use? I have quite a few horses with developed personalities I plan on using.

Cottonwood Spring Photo Hunt
Grab your cameras and phones everybody!

I may be out of some stuff due to my computer, but that doesn't mean I can't liven things up a bit with a simple photo hunt! Here's how it works:

Each person goes out and can take 1 photo that fits into one of the categories! (You can enter up to two categories, one photo submission each). In two weeks, I'll judge the photos and the winner will get a free custom!

However, they are a few rules to follow!
1. In order to be sure the photo is yours, you must include a piece of paper/cardboard/something that says your CS Username on it. Just hold it in the corner of the photo or place it somewhere convenient. Watermarking your photo afterwards won't count, since you could do that to any photo on the internet.
2. You MAY NOT include you, your friends, your family, or any compromising private information in your photo (such as your street address, name, etc.) I do not want that information out there. (If your fingers are in the shot holding the username, that's fine. XD) Also, pets are okay to be in the photo. <3
3. This goes without saying, but photos must adhere to CS rules. Nothing violent, inappropriate, etc.
4. Please ask permission before you borrow someone's camera/phone, I don't want anyone getting in trouble.

You can pick up 1-2 of the following categories to compete in:
"Sing Spring"- Take a photo of something that represents spring coming in your area!
"Jump for Joy"- Take a photo of something that brings you joy!
"Easter Egg Hunt"- Take a photo of an easter egg you hid- if you do not have a plastic or real easter egg, you can use a drawing of an easter egg.

In addition, everyone is entered for the "Best Username Tag"! Mini-contest. My favorite username tag will recieve a free breeding! However, don't get so caught in making a nice tag that you miss the deadline! It can be as simple as pencil on a scrap of paper (As long as I can clearly read it.)

Edit: You may not use filters on your pictures. ^___^ I like natural photos!

When you have taken your photos, submit them to me via a PM titled "Spring Photo Hunt" by April 30th. You may include your reasoning behind the photo, but you MUST tell me which photo is for which category.

Hey everyone,

As the Event Manager, I finally set up my thread for the events. You can see it *here*.

Now you can see the Banners there? Most of them feature my own horse Risen, but I want variety.
Since I don't want to use just my own horses, I am hosting this little "competition" here. You don't really have to do anything. :3

To have your horse displayed on one of the banners, you must PM me with the title "CWHR Events Banner Horse", and information about your horse's name, breed, gender, the link to it's oekaki page and what discipline it's trained in. (For the breed, light Warmbloods are the only ones I'll display on the banners. Breeds like the Trakehner, Hanoverian, Holstein, Oldenburg, American Warmblood, British Warmblood etc. and I'd also allow Throughbreds. No Quarter Horses, Paint Horses or any other Stock Horse out there, no Drafts and no Arabians.) The Discipline should be Eventing, or one of it's disciplines alone (Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross-Country) You can also tell me if your horse just started training, then I won't make him or her jump too high or make a hard dressage movement. If you want you can also tell me why you want to have your horse displayed. And you may PM me two horses, but probably only one will be chosen.

I need 16 banners in total for now. If there is much interest every person may only have one slot, but otherwise I may allow two horses of the same person. I will need more banners in the future, so I'll keep in mind who applied.
