"Not without me, she won't," Shade barked.

"Come on, Shade." Yuki barked. She slowly started to slide down a steeper part of the cliff, being careful not to fall...

Dark wasn't dead. He quickly started swimming to the edge of the water and stumbled to his paws, then limp-ran off until he was out of sight. This was bad- He had just undergone heart surgery, broken his ribs, dislocated his shoulder and was emotionally unstable right now...And to top it off, another wave of hunters were coming. What's the point? I'll just end up hurting someone badly...

"I think that's someone's pet dog...Maybe we should go home for now?" A human voice whisperedfrom behind a bush.
"Nah. I saw that petty vet take it earlier. It's fine." Another voice replied.
Dark limped up to the bush without thinking, to see who was there. There was a loud bang followed by an eerie silence, which didn't last long. The hunters had shot him in the face, one bullet going in to his right eye, the other in the side of his muzzle.
"Look, you got 'im! Except the fur will be ruined..." One hunter laughed.
"The fur? I don't want that. It's just fun! Then you mount the head on your wall!" The other snickered.
The other hunter shot Dark in the chest and smirked as he stumbled backwards. "I think he's getting angry!"
"One more shot should do it."
"'Kay."
Dark tried to run off, but the hunters both shot his back leg and ran out from behind the bush. "Grab 'im! Quick!" The two grabbed his back legs to stop him from escaping, then while one hunter held him down, the other stamped on his head and made his nose and mouth bleed heavily. He tried to struggle free, but it was useless...
"We gotcha now! There's no escaping!" One of the wicked humans sneered.
"Just die already, mutt."
"N-No..." Dark growled, trying harder to pull free...
"We'll be going to that big pack tomorrow, right?"
"Yep- I got a feeling this guy might be their leader or somethin'."
"This mutt? Nah."
"[censored]...[censored]!" Dark whined...

Shade jumped down after Yuki. He blocked her and Dark from the humans. He snarled. The council would not take either of those two back to that hell called "heaven". He snapped at them as one human stepped forward. Maine sailed over Shade and landed on the hunter's shoulder and bit into his jugular.

"Y-Yuki, Shade, Maine, get out of here!" Dark shouted, knocking Maine off of the human. "I'll sort this out, just get away!"

Dark grabbed Yuki and threw her as far as possible. "Go!" He snarled, then did the same for Shade and Maine.

The last hunter ran off, but came back with a big mixed breed dog, which was just a bit taller than him, but much stockier. Dark ran towards the dog to bite it, but he missed and skidded forwards. The big dog quickly turned around and slashed Dark from all different directions, leaving him unable to move for a few moments. This is no ordinary dog... Dark thought. The dog stopped, then went to give Dark the final blow, but as it lifted it's head to bring his fangs down, Dark moved and finally got to strike back. He pinned the dog with his one remaining good paw, but it wasn't enough...The dog half sat up and sank it's sharp fangs in to his throat...

Damien flew out of nowhere and snapped the big dog necks. "Sorry i didn't come earlier. I'm Damien, you must be the great Dark," He dropped a small bundle next to the older alpha. "Please, I can no longer care for my child. Please, take them to your pack. I don't want my only child to be raised in the pack of blowing winds." With that, he bounded away.
