I was talking to my friend about fan art, and she said that she didn't like how many manga-style fan art drawings there were. She then went on to talk about some anime and manga she had heard of, but hadn't read/watched and wouldn't consider it, including Attack on Titan, so I got excited, saying I wanted to try it. She asked me what my favourite fandom was.. I replied the brony fandom, sarcastically and started talking about how everything is ponified by bronies. I then proceeded to talk about how Edward Elric from FullMetal Alchemist was turned into a pony when I looked him up on Google Images.
Me: So, I saw Edward Elric from FullMetal Alchemist was turned into a pony!
Her: I've heard of that
Me: IT'S AWESOME!
Her: He's that short dude, right? With the weird ponytail
Me: *glares*, well, I guess..... but HE'S SO AWESOME! AND HE HAS AN AUTOMAIL ARM AND LEG AND THE BROTHER WHO PEOPLE THINK LOOKS LIKE A ROBOT AND THEY THINK HIS LITTLE BROTHER IS THE FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, BUT IT'S ACTUALLY EDWARD, BUT HE'S SO SHORT, THEY GET SO SURPRISED AND HE GETS SO MAD!

Well he does have a braid earlier in the series, and a ponytail at the end.

I've just decided to rewatch episode 33 of FMA03, and... oh my gosh I am so used to Maxey voicing Al now after watching too much Brotherhood. X3

I had a friend who really wanted to watch FMA, started it and was really enjoying it until their mother decided that for whatever reason she didn't want her son watching anime. So she blocked off all channels that showed anime, stopped their Netflix and banned them from finishing it.

Season 1 has 24 episodes, if I remember correctly. And Season 2 has 12!
Also there are a bunch of OVA episodes, but I'm not exactly sure how many, sorry >.<
