Bella was quite relieved this young stallion was inexperianced and didn't seem to know what he was doing. She ignored the nip, he wasn't bothering Astria and that was all that mattered. His inexperiance was tipping the odds in the mare's favor. The mare kicked at Garry, once, twice more before she sped up, roughly pushing Astria ahead of her. Even if Garry figured out that all he had to do was try to hurt the filly to make Bella turn back, Bella had put herself between the two.

the stallion pinned his ears back as the mare shot off at a gallop, still terrified by the scent of the wolf nearby. gold set off at a painstakingly slow trot, wincing with every step. his hind legs seared with pain, but he knew that if he didn't find her fast, she would be lost forever. golden morning dropped his head and let a bellow echo across the field, desperately calling for sun to return to him.

spirit lifted his head to see a mare running alone, her tail high in the air. the buckskin nosed winter, telling her to wait there while he went to investigate. the stallion flew into a canter, ears pricked as he came to her side. with a soft, playful whinny, spirit nosed the mare as an offering to be a part of his herd.

ricochet's eyes fluttered open as frost moved away, off to scold the two young fillies. ric knew it was his job, but the paint mare just wished he could calm down a bit. now, having the energy, ricochet trotted up to frost until she stood beside him, pressing her poll into his shoulders as if to say 'let them go, they just want to have a bit of fun.'

cloud closed her eyes in content as the stallion continued to groom her, making her coat feel clean and shiny. she moved into a slow trot as her new stallion indicated for her to join the herd, with a nip on her flank. the dapple grey pricked her ears at the other mares in the herd, feeling a high whinny bubble at her maw. she let it out, calling a friendly call to her new herd mates.

arrow stood alone in a small valley, where the autumn winds barely reached her. she twitched her muscles, ears pricked as she listened for the call of a stallion. she was in search of a herd, even with no heat scent; the mare knew that winter was upon her, and the last thing she wanted was to be alone during it. the skewbald lifted her head high into the air, closing her eyes as she felt a neigh erupt in her chest, spilling out from her muzzle and into the valley.

Page cantered past astria and Bella cutting he way through them kicking at the young stud hoping to catch Bella and astria asshe cantered by them ears pinnedt the young male she stopped nipping blu to keep going she struck her front legs out at grin before turning snaking her neck at Bella chasing the mare away befre catching up to blu allowing Bella to follow if she could but she wasnt going to stay. Instead the mare led blu and her foal down towards the Forrest were stallions would unlikel come in to snake a it was dangerous. Page knew these woods well she grew up in them and knew all the escape paths and so she trotted along nudging blu softly asshe slowed to a trot. There was a nearby open den which horses sometimes birthed in. It had been where page was born ears flicking she nudged blu down the small hill into the hidden rocky den like cave which was safe but not closed in much, a stallion passing would only smell deer and fox the animals here's scent swollowed horses allowing then to hide. "Don't come out" she whickerrd then trotted away from blu and her foal raising her tail which still had a bit of scent to it making a path to the other sde of the Forrest. Once there she thought knowing if she ran around her scent would confuse stallions so shedid that once she entered the open then came back the same way shed come but made her way to blu making sure the mare was still there. Tail clamped so she wouldn't be scented and so blue would not be found she then looked around carefully hoping pride was safe. At the same time she looked for Bella hoping the mare got away

Page glared at grim cantering away annoyed the young male was taking bells but she ignored it and kept moving making sure blu followed she kept a steady gallop headin for the Forrest.

Breeze frowned slightly at this, but just walked back to the herd with her head down. The two of them were only laying! Frost could of gotten to them just as easy as he did just then, but whatever. The filly started to pick up the pace and cantered back to her mother's side. She received and scolding, but she just shrugged it off.

Echo felt a cold breeze cause her to shudder. She let out a nicker to Triumph, informing him that she is leading the herd elsewhere. She nudged Infinity, and the young filly trotted beside her mother. Echo flicked her ears, and nudged the filly away. "Go play with Firefly" She told her, before trotting off to a new area.

Infinity sighed as she was pushed away. She looked over at Firefly, curiously. She sighed, wondering if tge other filly even wanted to play with her. She trotted over to Triumph, her eyes studying him curiously as she kept along with the herd. "You are big!" She exclaimed, not tall enough to reach his shoulder. "Why are you so big? Will I ever be big?" She asked. This was the first time she had ever been this close to Triumph, and any stallion. "Echo told me that mares go into heat...are you a mare? Will you go into heat too?" She asked, excitedly nipping him.

Triumph looked at the filly frowning briefly, nickering to Echo nodding gently he turned to the filly frowning gently before speaking softly. "Umm, Maybe" He spoke gently watching the foal carefully "Echo? Shouldn't you call her mother?" He shrugged before speaking "I'm a stallion... We don't go into heat.. why is she telling you this anyway" He murmured nudging her gently pushing her after her mother as he gathered his other mare and pushed all his herd after Echo staying by infinty for the foal was talking to him.

ＲＥＡＰＥＲ ＯＦ ＳＯＵＬＳ [ ｇｒｉｍ ]

grim charged forward towards the mares that were heading for the trees. his ears flattened onto the back of his skull as he quickly blocked their way before baring his teeth. "back." he seemed to snarl an order at them, lunging forward and nipping page. she had given herself away as the lead mare so he was quick to dominate over her, pressing forward while pushing them back. whilst keeping an eye on page, he shot bella a pointed glare, "i will injure your foal if you do not cooperate." he warned with a huff, standing between the mares and the forest. he had a few nicks on him but grim wasn't one to give up and having foals put these mares at a disadvantage. no matter how hard they tried to run, a foal couldn't go faster than grim so if worst came to worst, he would kill one. "garry, be so kind as to make sure these lovelies do not make it into the forest. if so, be certain to either injure their off spring of leave a scar for them to remember." grim had a feeling the younger bachelor might not be able to do either but the statement he had said confirmed that grim was in no mood to be merciful.

a sharp chomp on his neck made pandemic scream in fury and agony. "let go." he shrieked, blindly lashing out with his hooves, knowing they would probably hit somewhere around the shoulders and neck. giving his body a violent jerk, he wriggled free of pride's grip on his muscled neck. the blood seeped into his fur and pandemic backed off a moment to assess the damage. this bite was the worst of them. glaring venomously at pride, he charged again, this time aiming for above pride's eyes, hoping to blind him. pandemic didn't wait to see if he'd hit or not. immediately after he swung his hind legs around and lashed out at pride, just managing a glance to grim to see he had the mares relatively under control.

Blu pinned her ears and slid to a stop when Grim appeared in front of them. How did he catch up to us so fast? She sighed, the stallion was much bigger then her, so he was probably faster. She watched as he nipped Page, realizing he knew she was lead mare. Blu backed up a little while he was focused on Page, keeping Mystery behind her. Blu leaned forward and nipped him when he threatened her foal. "Over my dead body." Blu snorted angrily, glaring back at him. She glanced at Page. She knew the lead mare was pregnant, but as of right now she had no foal. She could run faster than Blu and Bella. Blu nickered to her quietly, telling her to run. Her attention came back to Grim at his next words, and she let out a small sigh of defeat. There were three bachelors? Pride would never be able to fight off all of them. She turned to look at the other stallion and almost nickered in relief. The new stallion looked like he was two years old! The mares could take care of this one. She pretended to be scared, hoping Grim would leave them alone so she could attack. "No! Don't hurt Mystery! Please!" She nickered, pretending to tremble.
