Just out of curiosity, what season is it in the roleplay? I wasn't able to find it anywhere...

I didn't even think of that. I'm going to say that it's early(ish) newleaf, since there are pregnant queens and all.

I just realized that neither of my cats have anyone to talk to. xP Dawnflight's open, if anyone's looking for someone to have their character talk to, and Sparrow's on a patrol, so I'll just have to wait for it to be over before he can talk to anyone... unless somebody wants to come and bother him while he checks the border.

Hmm. I did sort of write the prophecy in a way that makes it hard to include everyone, so we can have some little extra things that'll start including cats to the point where everyone that wants it will have some little piece in the future of LakeClan.

I think that if we go with the flood idea, it will be a great bonding event for everyone, and our clan can be a more close-knit one! It will certainly bring all the cats together and give plenty of chances for a cat to become a hero to his/her crush, or at least when the sudden rush of water takes everyone by 'surprise' and they're forced to immediately flee.

Does anybody really object to Spirit's idea, have anything to add to or change it, or have an idea of your own? If you do, speak up now! Because if not, I say we use what Spirit said and work out some of the smaller details.

Aww, thanks everyone If you need any help thinking up omens or other prophecy things then just shoot me a PM or something! We can also all brainstorm on this thread. It would be helpful if you outlined exactly what is going to happen though and then we could ask who else wants to be involved with the prophecy if they're not already.

Lol I actually haven't read really much of anything on here, so I have no idea what ya'll are talking about. Just came to say hello and sorry for my lack of post, I had a big bunch of hw to do this week since Prom is tomorrow. I actually still have to type up a thought provoking essay comparing Animal Farm to a real life corporation. So, ya'll are going to have to survive another day without my post. Oh! Also, Kitty, I'm planning to have Kage come meet that patrol of yours.

Haha, thanks; I was in that position where I wanted to and could reply, but I didn't want to just keep posting things for my cats if they don't have anyone to interact with. And I could use some help with how to include some more of the individual warriors, for anyone who wants their cat(s) to be included.

Okay, Kit!

Alright, then it looks like we're going with Spirit's ideas! Of course, some things need to be approved by some of you, but here's the outline of how I think it should all play out (you guys already know most of this from Spirit's idea post, but I added a few things where there were holes):

First of all...
The beginning of it all will happen sometime in the near future, though perhaps not immediately; it depends on how everyone decides to fit into it, really, and what's going on in the role play. Personally, I think the first segment should be sent to the prophecy cats through a mutual dream, where all three of them are in StarClan and receiving it at the same time so they each know who the others are. Pebbleheart, as the medicine cat apprentice, will think to inform Blueheart about the first segment of the prophecy, who would in turn have the job of informing Icestar. Whether or not Sunstrike is involved is up to Icestar from there, but it seems fitting for at least the medicine cat and leader to know about it. This will end up playing a role when Icestar and Blueheart aren't completely blindsided by trouble, so they can gather their wits and keep the clan calm as Kestrelbelly quickly figures out (more info below) what to do.
Sparrowstorm will have little to nothing to do with this, but he gets it anyways to prepare him for his job later on.
The first segment will not happen sequential to the verses. The second stanza is the real warning, telling the cats in StarClan's screwed-up way that the lake is going to suddenly flood the camp, hence the 'rising'- how the lake has risen due to the leafbare melt and the constant newleaf rains -and the heightened rollling tide, or the sort of wave of water that will overtake the camp in a flash flood.
That will have happened at about sunset, when it's getting dark, so it might be slightly gradual but the cats almost fail to notice it until they're ankle-deep and it's rapidly rising. This is when the chaos will start, and everyone will either run into the forest alone or help their fellow clanmates get free of the floods. Either way, they'll all end up in the forest, and it'll be a cloudy night so there won't be any moon or stars.
Kestrelbelly will play a huge role by leading the clan to temporary safety on top of a hill, saving many lives in the process. (Yes, I'm just adding this.) Maybe since she received the first segment, she was sharp enough to figure a lot of it out and thought quickly when it actually happened. Full darkness will have set in, and the cats with 'lose themselves in fear'- or in other words just be completely unbelieving in what just happened or be worried about any clanmates left unheard from -hearing the lapping of waves against the bottom of the hill, or the 'whispers in the darkness.'

The last stanza will mean that their camp is gone, and they'll have to move on or face death or disbandment as some cats want to stay and some cats want to go. This stanza will assure them all that they have to go, and Icestar or Blueheart will likely say it out loud to the clan.
That is the first segment.

Second of all...

The second segment is only half-developed, so this one is still highly susceptible to change. However, since I haven't heard anything on the Kestrel-Pebble relationship, I'm assuming we're going with the bird triangle and Sparrowstorm's struggle with his love for Starlingsong and her struggle with her love for both him and Raventhorn.
Slowly, Sparrowstorm will be falling for Starlingsong, and the more he falls in love with her the more he notices the too-friendly interactions between her and Raventhorn as well. This will be the part where 'light is of a lesser breed,' since he's the type of tom to beat himself up about it instead getting angry. Of course, he'll be jealous, which will add to his negativity.
'the one he can't resist' will obviously be Starlingsong, who has a 'broken soul' because she is torn between the two toms, Sparrowstorm and Raventhorn.
I'm not sure at all what the second stanza could mean in relation to this, or who Sparrowstorm will be holding close. Maybe it means that Starlingsong is 'the one' he holds so close, and she'll end up choosing Raventhorn...

(Though since I'm cheering for Sparrow, I'd rather it not XD)

The third stanza is the most important, as it outlines Sparrowstorm's role. He'll view Starlingsong as 'his end,' but she's not his end at all, and 'the path' he takes 'will swallow him' almost quite literally, as he'll wander away from the group and find the tunnel under the lake that is the clan's best chance at survival.

Third of all...
The last stanza is also only half-formed. I'm not sure who all it will be sent to yet. We still don't know what the problem within the high ranks will be
Oh, good gravy, I can't believe I didn't think of Icestar liking Blueheart and Blueheart almost certainly ending up with a mate eventually, since Weaselfur also likes her! That could be certainly be the problem, since nobody could really see it since medicine cats having relationships is against the medicine code.
However, the glow will be the light at the end of the tunnel, where the clan will come out on the other side of the lake; they'll be situated on top of a hill that slopes down to the water, so they won't be flooded again, and the way I'm writing this makes that ending to the prophecy sound way lamer than it actually will be when we role play it out.
