If we can't call it violet because it's "purple", then we can't really call any of the other cats by their color in the rainbow, especially the blue (cyan) one, which is a lot farther from what we consider blue these days than the purple one is from violet. xD It's easier for some to just refer to them as their rainbow colors, which makes sense because of the litter a s a whole. :3

Not to mention that violet, unlike cyan, is so close to purple that honestly? I don't see much of a difference in this case. The only reason there might be a difference is if we're comparing the two, and we're not so /shrug.

Well, violet and purple are different because violet is actually its own wavelength whereas purple is just mixed red and blue, but since we're on computer screens, technically anything we see is just a mix of red, blue, and green, so we don't see any true violet or indigo anyway.

...you were the one who said it wasn't violet, it was purple. I was pointing out that it didn't matter what we called it, it's basically the same color in this case.

Anyway, I'd love the grey cat to be grey with colored stripes. That would be neat.

Ooh, that would be nice, especially if the stripes were semi-translucent so we could see some of the grey underneath.

That's the point that we were trying to get across, it shouldn't matter enough to correct anyone if they say violet or blue instead of purple or cyan, same with all the other colors. Its a "rainbow" litter, so people are bound to call them by their corresponding colors in the rainbow.

That's what I wanted at first, covered in a rainbow. But that was before the grey cat revealed itself and also the artist hinted that while a rainbow cat would be neat, there are other ways it could be unique so I don't think that it will be all rainbows even if I wanted it to be XD
