Frequently Asked Questions

So what? Event Manager?

Yes, I am the Event Manager of CWHR, but that doesn't simply mean I am hosting all events. The artists hold their own events and have different prizes than I have them for example. The events I am going to host have a point system and Championships, so unlike most of the artist's events, this will continue for a long time and work as real horse events work as well.

What Disciplines are included in the events?

I plan on having several disciplines, mainly Eventing (Dressage, Show Jumping, Cross-Country) and those said disciplines themselves. I know there are also many people in the CWHR community that own Western horses, but I am not familiar with the disciplines yet. I plan on having Western events in the future as well. If there is interest I may also organize horse races to give your thoroughbreds something to do, but then I must be sure that there is enough interest.

Will there be any other "staff" for this? Like judges?

I don't know yet, but possibly not. I may ask one or two of my friends on here, or at home, when I have problems with judging, but since I don't know how many people will enter frequently I can't answer this question with being 100% sure.

Is the breed of the horse I enter important?

Yes, of course it is. You can't enter just any horse here. For the Eventing disciplines I will only accept Warmbloods. No Drafts, Ponies (but again, if there is interest I might open a Pony Class) or what else you might have, just Warmbloods. I will put up a list with suitable horse breeds that are seen in (international) competitions. If the breed of horse you want to enter is not on the list, PM me about it and I MAY add it to the list if I see the breed fit. I am only human and may forget about it. I don't bite and any issue about this can be worked out.

**NOTE: A rider can have more than a single horse like usual in real competitions too and you must register a rider before you register a horse. That's why there are two forms, one for the riders and one for the horses. You can also enter horses here, that are owned by another user, IN CASE YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO DO SO. That is for people that don't own a suitable horse of there own for example.

* Breeds below this point should be kept to a minimum and you may only register a total of two. (Means not per breed but in total.) This is due to the fact that they are present in international competitions, but rarely seen, especially the Spanish Horses. Please don't discuss the Thoroughbred point with me. I want to encourage people to own more Warmbloods and Sport Horses. If this leads to too much problems I may change this Thoroughbred point a bit, but note, I decided to offer Galopp Racing in the future where only Thoroughbreds will be allowed - then they will have enough to do.
