A water vole, perfect! Being close to the water, that was normal. He crouched and crept forward, creeping slowly. He leapt, paws landing short of the mark. The kill he made was a bit sloppy, but a kill nonetheless.
He turned and carried it back.

Patchpaw took a smile bite and forced it down

Midnightpaw pounced on Strike

Strike turned, slashing his claws across her muzzle.

Before taking a bite, she frowned, "Are you sure your okay?"

[Esther~]

Midnightpaw hissed.She lunged forward scratching his flank

Patchpaw nodded.

"Mouse-dung!" Sootpaw hissed as the mouse scrabbled back onto its hole. Sighing, he grabbed her own prey.

"I will not be beaten by an-" his words were cut off. As he had turned to meet his stinging flank, Rowantail's claws sunk into his throat. "Don't underestimate young cats." He yanked back his blood-stained paw.

Sootpaw trotted into camp, carrying his prey. He looked around for Icesky.
