Is it just me, or are a lot of shounen animes about death? DEATH Note, Attack on Titan is full of people getting eaten, Fullmetal Alchemist is about how death is irreversible, Soul Eater and Bleach have shinigami... (fun fact: shinigami are basically what happens when you tell Japanese people about grim reapers)

Not all Shounen are about death. Although Bleach is about Shinigami, the show itself has nothing to do with death at all. One Piece doesn't deal with death. Heck, in One Piece, you can shoot a man 6 times, and three episodes later, he's walking around like nothing happened. Katekyo Hitman Reborn has nothing to do with death. Neither Trigun nor Rurouni Kenshin deal with death; in fact, the main characters in those refuse to kill at all. Fairy Tail has nothing to do with death either. I could go on, but I'll stop there.

Yeah, I agree. I haven't seen too much of the series. I started watching it on Toonami, which began airing around episode 200, and I've probably seen about 50 episodes. Already I've noticed that no one really dies no matter what you do to them. XD
A lot of big-name shounens are like that though.

Hmm...so I'm starting an anime called "Amnesia". The ratings don't look too good, I suppose I'm not expecting much since it appears to be based off of a dating sim, but the reviews make me wonder if it's even worth my time? I've watched two episodes so far; the protagonist seems rather emotionless but it's not terribly bothersome ( unless she's going to be like that the entire series... ), the plot seems pretty interesting so far, and the character designs are gorgeous.
Has anyone watched it before, and if so, what do you think about it?
