Of course, Tomoe was obviously going to find them. Sighing in relief - had he really been expecting cops, or Team Plasma? - Karus managed something of a faint, tired smile. "I'm not usually one for sneaking," he lied. Of course he was one for sneaking. He spent his life sneaking around, more or less. Wiping away a few stray strands of golden hair from across his forehead, the scientist's relief sparked to distaste and annoyance.

Tomoe was teasing him about the girl. Ignoring the 'friend besides me' comment, Karus rolled his eyes. The guy was always like this, always bouncy and.. well, Tomoe. His jaw dropped, however, at the 'you beast!' remark. Tomoe just kept talking and talking regardless, throwing out all sorts of highly suggestive comments that were not true. Before he even realized what he was doing, Karus's hand extended and slapped Tomoe right across the cheek. "Shut up, you dork. We have a real, actual problem here and no the problem isn't her." The manager lady added to this with a snarky 'shut it'. Appreciating that she too wasn't one for Tomoe's highly inappropriate 'jokes', Karus pursed his thin lips.

"This is Tomoe, a.. friend." he shot a glare at the extravagant young man as he fluttered his fan, "Quite frankly, he's a suggestive little prick but he's still just about the only friend I've got left." Feeling that was about as kindly as he could refer to the colourful man, Karus couldn't help but give a slight smirk to his friend. "And he's gonna have to come with us."

Before she could argue, he began to speak again. Answering her demand but also filling Tomoe in on the situation at the same time, Karus spoke quickly. "The guy in the supermarket wasn't there by accident. He was from Team Plasma. They've been plucking people off for weeks now. Specifically, they've been plucking off Pokémon disguised as people. And since you were unaware of the situation before it happened, I'm guessing you're a Pokémon too. I'm actually a Kadabra, and he's-" he gestured to Tomoe, "-is a Kirlia. My guess is that you're a Scizor or something. Anyway, that's not important right now. They've been working on exposing Pokémon to 'liberate' them and all that rubbish. The point is, we can't stay here. We can't stay in Black City because they know, for crying out loud. If we stay, we're all done for. And I don't know about either of you, but I'd say that I'd rather live to see another day."

Sighing from speaking so fast, he shoved his hands into his coat pockets merely out of habit more than anything. He looked to the strange pair before him - the man who looked like a rainbow had spewed all over him, and the bitter-looking woman with a glare so sharp it was difficult to look at her for long. "Tomoe, they have a new thing - a new weapon. It sparks energy. It converts. I've heard others talk about it in the labs, the guys in the technology section were talking about stolen newly-developed works.. It's really, really not safe, not for any of us. Not here, anyway. And if they knew about us, they'll know about you soon enough, too."

OH this day was just getting better and better. He was having his usual good day at the shop, busniess was booming, the sound of children luaghing filled his ears even now in this 'seroius' situation behind him as he, Karlus, and this mysterious woman (who still did not introduce herself, how rude!), he got to see K-chan today after so long, (the first time he entered and left his store today so didn't count), and to top it off K-chan had a date and was expressing his inner pervert all in the same day! Score! Tomoe continue to laugh at their amusing expressions.

"Why K-chan, I believe that your turning red~so then it's tru-"

SMACK!

"Shut up, you dork."

"Ah!" He exclaimed. Tomoe cradled his right cheek which was unpleasantly smacked by his 'friend'. " I-I can't believe I got slapped. That was unexpected..." He muttered, closing one of his eyes while the other gave a soft glare at the long hair blonde that gave him an equal stern expression.

"We have a real, actual problem here and no the problem isn't her."

"R-really, and what could warrant smacking your friend like a pinata? And what's this about me coming with you? "The dark hair pervert squinted at him, rising an eyebrow in curiosity. Absentmindedly he rubbed his redding check, waiting for his fellow pokemon to explain. But before he could the other woman stop, her voice as sharp as her eyes. Hmm, she was kind of scary like that. Tomoe fought a shutter when she spoke. The way she scowling at him and K-chan reminded him all to well of his dear trainer's mother, who was a kind woman, but scary when angered. Tomoe would still burst in tears at the memory of ruining Clair's mother's fine linen table cloth with cranberry juice, staining the once lovely white fabric with an ugly reddish pinkish color when he and Clair try to wash it before her mother came home. What was worst was they had set it to warm water, so the color got everywhere.

"What is this? And what was that?" The shorter blond hair 'human' sneered, her expression tightening. The edge in her voice brought the shopkeeper back from memory lane. "Honestly, I'm not used to strange men turning up and shooting up my store! So please forgive me if I sound just slightly ticked off."

Ok, now he was horribly lost. Cocking his head in confusion, brows furring together he turn to Karus.

"K-chan?" He inquired, dropping his hand from his face. Karus seem to give a silent sigh, before he explained. He started in the beginning. About how there was a Plasma knight in disguised in the Supermarket down town, not five blocks away from where they were at right now, and that he and the woman were only ran though the alleys before coming here, after the human shot at them with a strange weapon. This made the physic pokemon fidget, shifting his light weight from one foot to the other as Karus came to the end of his story.

The 'plucking off pokemon in disguised' is what was the most worrying news. So they knew, huh? After these five years of living in unsteady peace in his human ID, it had come to an end. He knew deep in his soul that this facade wouldn't last forever. Someday, someone, would find out one day. It was that way with any secret. He just didn't wait to see it. Didn't wait to acknowledge it, to know it could come true one day. To keep living this dreamland fantasy that he was human and he had worries just like everybody else did.

"Tomoe, they have a new thing - a new weapon. It sparks energy. It converts. I've heard others talk about it in the labs, the guys in the technology section were talking about stolen newly-developed works.. It's really, really not safe, not for any of us. Not here, anyway. And if they knew about us, they'll know about you soon enough, too." Karus said, his tone grave.

Tomoe gave a soft nod at K-chan's made the assumption that if Plasma attacked them, they would possibly know about his ploy as well. Karus final sentence made Tomoe tightening his grip on his feather fan, which he had been twisting and turning in his grip as he mulled over this newest problem. So what? Should they run out of Black city, just like that? What about his shop? What about all the children that would be disapointed once they found out that he was no longer open for business? That his shop should rust away for time to cripple and destroy, it's bright color walls no longer filled with their joyful laughter and light?

What would Clair think?

Tomoe bite his lip at the thought of his little girl. Would she disappointed too, to know that he had run from a fight? That he didn't make some kind of stand against his foes? That he just ran way because it was convenient?

"I-I just can't leave Karus." He whispered, his gaze fallen to the floor. Dirt and old concrete greeted his line of sight as he frown at the ground. Tomoe didn't even realized he called his friend by his real name, and not the silly nickname he had given him, a sure sign of how distressed he was about this. Karus would surly understand, right?

"Besides, were would we go anyway? To another city and just, pick up from there?"

Seeing the shop keeper's stupid laughing face get slapped was a happy reminder that things in life got better. Sasha smirked quietly to herself, amusement playing around her eyes as his child-like smile dropped quite suddenly to be replaced with a subdued glare and his unreasonably cheerful tone sank into muted annoyance. He had it coming, she thought contentedly. He only had himself to blame.

K-chan's comment about a 'suggestive little prick' brought a wry smile to her face. "Mm I noticed." she muttered under her breath, flinging a peevish glance to the newly-named Tomoe. From his involuntary shuddering, he seemed to be somewhat intimidated by her voice. Good.

Us? Us? 'Us' was bad enough without Sir Inappropriate on his hideous steed of terrible innuendos. Instantaneously, she flung open her mouth to furiously argue the point, but was quickly swept to the side with K-chan's infuriatingly purposeful change in topic. Nicely planned, the manager thought bitterly, a number of unflattering names going through her head. With a sullen exhale of breath, Sasha let her mouth shut and gritted her teeth. Fine. Fine, whatever. Easing out of her tense posture, she slowly crossed her arms and sank into the cool brick wall as K-chan started explaining more important things. Her gaze and heart remained wrathful.

Plasma? Her interest levels piqued immediately and she cocked her head up to listen more attentively. All news was bad news from that point on. The direct accusation of being a Pokemon made her rather taken aback for a second, but her expression remained impassive except for a quick eyebrow-raise. So they were little freaks of society too. Kirlia and Kadabra? Psychic types. Fantastic, she could beat them up as soon as they started anything. Sasha's gaze flickered briefly from Pokemon to Pokemon before settling challengingly on the Kadabra. If K-chan expected her to reveal her true form he'd be in for a disappointment, for she planned to keep her scarlet lips firmly sealed in all matters involving herself for the time being. Enemies of her enemies still weren't friends and the previous guess of Scizor hit a little too close to home for comfort. Luckily for him though, he thought 'that wasn't important right now'.

Quite right. Mind springing into action, Sasha cast a glance to the back door on her right and considered the safeness of leaving right now. It was no longer safe in the whole city, never mind a dingy little store room with two social liabilities, but if that Plasma guy was still lurking then it'd be best to wait it out. Her inner sense of calm despite the situation was nice and pleasant; let her clear her mind and think about the currently non-existant Plan B. But for now, saying Adios to K-chan, Tomoe and Black City sounded extremely fun.

Before the manager could start with that, however, Tomoe's voice piped up from the pause in conversation. Ooh, how very emotional that voice was. Delicious. Sluggishly, she turned her head to blink with curious interest at the shopkeeper's garish form. He didn't seem to fit his clothes in that moment. His cloak hung motionlessly off of him instead of drifting around as if it had a life of its own; his fluffy fan was lowered as in defeat. What was he leaving behind that was quite so important?

"And why not?" she asked rather suddenly after her prolonged silence, narrowing her eyes at the deflated-looking man. "Stay or go for all I care, it makes no difference to me whether you end up dead in a ditch somewhere tomorrow or not, but why?"

Remembering K-chan's previous involvement of her in the oncoming band, Sasha quickly spoke up. "For the record, who is 'us'? Because, I don't remember signing up for any travelling buddies when this is over."

If you ever need any advice, Lavender is the one to ask. She is a master at communication, not just because of her amazing patience, but because she's excellent at understanding most issues and problems. She's found that, while fights between children and adults might seem different, are quite similar. The adults just tend to overlook these small details and blow things out of proportion; while children's fights are a tad more simple. Fortunately enough, Lavender rarely has to deal with the issues of adults and mainly can focus her priorities on children. But if one does decide to confide in Lavender, they should be careful how they approach her. Dumping all of one's emotional problems onto Lavender will, more or less, cause depression to settle over her spirit which will, in turn, crush her freedom. She doesn't like to feel as if she's held down by obligations, debts, or sorrow and does her best to stay as - not necessarily detached - but distant from negativity as possible. If she ever does start feeling as if something is dragging her down, she'll whip out an instrument and start playing some songs - though she refuses to sing unless it's for the children.

When someone first introduces themselves to Lavender, she might seem melancholy and stern because she seems to live by self-discipline and responsibility. She evaluates everything (though it might not be entirely obvious since she can do it so quickly) and doesn't enjoy taking daring chances without weighing the advantages and disadvantages regarding the situation first. Because of this, people tend to find Lavender boring but it's this serious drive and partially structured way of life that makes her feel safe. Her self-sufficiency is often mistook for coldness, though she is quite the opposite of cold. Lavender simply likes to do everything herself. In doing so, there is no worry about something not getting finished or not being done properly - another trait she no doubt picked up from babysitting children, since most cannot accomplish things alone.

Overall, Lavender is a very ambitious person, always pursuing something and wanting her life to be fulfilled and important. She is extremely patient and will wait a long time for something she wants. When an opportunity for something arises, she does not immediately lash out to steal it. Her steps may appear hesitant but she knows there is normally only one chance for success and wants to accomplish the goal with flying colors, not just second rate. She has a very active mind, strong powers of concentration, and may seem a tiny bit close-minded and stubborn at times.

♕ Karus
Kadabra // The Scientist // Location: Tomoe's Kingdom of Hope // Mentions: n/a // Tags: Sasha, Tomoe
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Karus bit his lip, ran his fingers through the gold hair hanging over his forehead. What had he gotten himself into? He should have teleported away while he had the chance. But leaving Tomoe, who just wanted to sit on his peeling chair and run his toy shop.. It would have haunted Karus for the rest of his days if he knew he'd left his only friend to be 'liberated'. Why he was including the manager lady, he didn't know, but it was some inner instinct that was making him feel protective. "I know it's hard, Tomoe, but you have to understand that we can't stay. I can't stay, you can't stay, none of us can stay." What he said next was so blunt that he felt bad for putting it so harshly, "Would you rather die on the doorstep of this shop, or run and survive? Survive and fight another day, when we actually have a chance of winning? Tomoe, I can't just leave you here. They'll find you, probably sooner than later." he gave a long pause, and stared with a desperate gaze at the man, "I don't want you to die, too."

It was all very stressful. He didn't know how to convince Tomoe, and he didn't know how he was going to get them all out of this mess. He only knew that he had to get out of this mess. Rubbing his temples to help focus on the task, he paced quietly as he did when in thought. The manager lady spoke, and he turned so harshly he almost surprised himself. "Stay or go for all I care, it makes no difference to me whether you end up dead in a ditch tomorrow or not." he replied in a sour tone, repeating her exact words for maximum impact. "'We' as in the Pokémon disguised as humans. You, me, the lot of us. You do realize that we're all in the same sinking ship? Whether you like it or not, we're stuck with each other. You can't beat Team Plasma on your own, don't even attempt to claim that you can. " Karus added as he massaged his forehead, searching for some solution. A solution, a destination, a haven..

Wait. That was it! A haven.. The thoughts spun into webs in his mind as the scientist whirled on his heel. "Not another city, Tomoe. No.. We're going to find Paradise." Usually, he wouldn't rely on such an unstable solution, one which may or may not actually exist. Regardless of whether Paradise actually existed, its supposed location would serve as a hideout for the time being. "I was researching it alongside my Pokémon behavioural studies. We could make it, we could. We would be safe. Just think about it - no Team Plasma. We're strong enough, I know we are."

Thoughts were racing through his head as Karus pictured the notes on his desk in his cramped office, the Pokémon resting in the recreation room, the maps on the walls from which he had secretly been attempting to map Paradise's rough location. The books strewn on the floor in semi-neat stacks, full of lore and myths about the supposed haven. If only he could grab some of his papers.. "Look," he started again, trying to sound convincing, "I don't like dodging into plans without much of a structure, but I know that this could work. Thatch's Journal had information about noctilucent clouds over parts of Hoenn. In the myths, noctilucent clouds were a sign of Paradise's current location, supposedly changing every thousand years. Gaelilae's Diary had similar documentation in Johto and Kanto. Thatch lived 853 years ago - Gaelilae lived 392 years ago. That means Paradise is somewhere in Kanto or Johto right now. It's probably somewhere between the two. We could find it."

"Would you rather die on the doorstep of this shop, or run and survive? "

Tomoe flinched at the statement his friend made, but either the less he gave a stiff nod, knowing that the blonde man spoke only the truth. As sad it was to admit to even himself, Tomoe was scared. He could fight surely, but against humans? He wasn't even fulled evolved to even attempt to try. Clair had taught him moves that would help more in getting around the opponent and then striking. Most direct attacks caught him off guard, as he was use to dogging and spinning out of his attackers moves.

"Tomoe, I can't just leave you here. They'll find you, probably sooner than later." Here Karus's tone took a softer tone. "I don't want you to die, too."

"K, K-chan..."Tomoe's vibrant blue eyes widen as he stared at his friend in shock. A warm bubbly feeling rose inside the psychic pokemon as he cried out, launching himself at the blonde. "Oh K-chan I just knew you cared about me!"

Wrapping his long arms around the others neck, Tomoe hugged the scientist, laughing loudly into the others ear, singing in a stream of - K-chan cares~ K-chan cares~ K-chan cares about me~ All the while silently thanking the serious man for caring and snapping him out of his sudden fears and depression. Oh course, what was he thinking? Clair would want to 'find happiness'. And even if he had his happiness in his store it would mean nothing if he was to die here and now. Although it made him sad to leave the store and leave the children that roamed inside, he would never forget them, and hopefully they would never forget him either. Even if the did it was ok. Because Tomoe would never forget them.

"For the record, who is 'us'? Because, I don't remember signing up for any traveling buddies when this is over." The woman's sharp voice snapped him out of his thought. Releasing his friend, Tomoe gave a unease smile at the woman, who seem even more angry than before if that was possible.

"Um, w-well..." Tomoe try to find a reason for her to come, even if she was scary, when K-chan voice took an equal cold tone at the woman. Karus was quick to tell the woman that she could stay or go for all that he cared too, and that they were all in the same 'sinking' ship, whether liked it or not. And as Tomoe had told himself silent, Karus explained they would be not match for the humans, together or alone.

"K-chan, that was a little harsh.." He muttered, but remained silent as he knew it was the only possibly way to get the woman to see the situation they were in. K-chan was good at forcing other to listen and see the facts of the matter, be it good or bad. After that remark, the group fell silent, as Karus seem to mull over something of great importance. And as it turn out, it was the question Tomoe asked earlier.

"No..We're going to find Paradise."

Tomoe was startled to say the least. "P-paradise? But, isn't that..." Tomoe left his sentence hang in the air, knowing that Karus knew as well has he did that it was only a old story from long ago. But K-chan seem to be getting excited, a light entering his eye as he cut in, his words coming out fast in his haste. "I was researching it alongside my Pokémon behavioral studies. We could make it, we could. We would be safe. Just think about it - no Team Plasma. We're strong enough, I know we are."

No Team plasma? Was this a joke? Sure K-chan had a rather dry sense of humor, but it was not in his nature to lie about something like this. Tomoe cocked his head, placing the tip of his fan under his lower lip as he watched Karus force himself to calm down and level his tone, one the Kirla had heard before when he was trying to convince someone that this was real, not matter how far fetch it sounded. Like that one math equation that involved pie. The dark hair man didn't believe him at first, after all why would a tasty pastry be in a math problem? It was something it eat, into for solving number on a piece of paper.

"Thatch's Journal had information about noctilucent clouds over parts of Hoenn.

A noc-what. Tomoe had to resist the urge to interrupt his friend, and ask what on earth that was. But he knew once K-chan started, he was not one that was fond of other butting in without him finishing his explanation. But the more K-chan spoke, the more excited Tomoe became. Stories of paradise long forgot came rushing back, filling his head with wonder and joy. A place of eternal piece, no humans, all the berries you could eat, no fighting, no negative emotions (a great joy for a psychic pokemon like himself) and the best part? Freedom.

"Let's do it!!" Tomoe cried out, striking a first in the air.

Sasha hung back and carefully watched the heart-wrenching scene that unfolded before her. Emotional encounters didn't go down well with her at all, so being trapped in a room with one wasn't much fun. If she had read K-chan's desperate words correctly it wouldn't be the first loss he'd encountered if Tomoe made the decision to stay put. Which of course raised the question of who else had died along his path? Another mystery.

She could just about deal with, and impatiently watch, the plea for Tomoe to not die. When the shopkeeper practically exploded with bubbly joy in response however, she groaned ever so slightly and focused her disdainful attention on one of the many battered cardboard boxes she had to choose from. Singing...lovey-dovey happiness...no. Lurking at the edge of this positive feeling burst, she felt and most likely looked like some malevolent phantom waiting to ruin everything and start talking.

As soon as she finished speaking and possibly ruining the moment, K-chan rounded on her so aggressively she recoiled back, pale eyes widening in affronted shock. For a second, she wondered incredulously if he would actually try and hit her or something, but as it turned out he was just interested in repeating her exact wording in dirty imitation. She scowled lightly at his mocking words, half-opening her mouth to speak, but finding no suitably biting remark to toss back. He was truly going that extra mile with this. Crossing her arms she had apparently flung out when dearest K-chan had whipped around, she settled back down to look as sullen as possible.

She met his scathing gaze throughout much of his speech, but irritatingly found herself agreeing with him, sinking ship and all. With a little snort, she dropped her eyes and looked away, loosening her grip on her glare. The worst thing was when annoying people like K-chan made sense. That was, until he mentioned taking down Team Plasma. Immediately, she snapped her gaze up to his, looking at the blonde man as if he had suddenly started speaking some far-distant language or sprouted another limb. "Beat Team Plasma..? Beat Team Plasma." she said in disbelief. "That's not the grand master plan, is it? Just dismantle a whole criminal organisation." Tomoe had muttered something, but she barely paid attention.

The room lapsed into silence after that.

Karus was doing most of the thinking and was subsequently the first to actually say anything. His solution was obscure enough that she paused and stared, unsure whether to laugh or not. Paradise? Like, the thing that wasn't real? Tomoe was on the verge of stating her thoughts, but kindly left his sentence hanging wide open for her to add on, "A thing that doesn't exist?" The K-man was too enraptured with his ideas to even listen. She squinted suspiciously at him as more and more claims came through, such as a world of no Team Plasma due to the birthdates of Thatch and Gaelilae. From what she remembered about weird human terminology, Thatch was a type of house and not a name. Despite wanting to state how ridiculous this fact was, Sasha hung back from speaking and fully considered what he was saying. Yes, it was making no sense to her and yes, it seemed impossible. Unfortunately, it was also the best option she had right now: whether Paradise existed or not, it wouldn't hurt to look. Probably. Apart from all that, she already felt resigned to her fate with the two lummoxes before her. Grudgingly, she could just about admit that that probably meant she had already decided on what to do.

"That's all really neato, but before finding 'Paradise' we should really find a way out of here." she cut in after Tomoe's happy exclamation, tilting her head slightly to regard both K-chan and Tomoe's ever-bright form.

Shrugging off the colourful man with a sigh, Karus looked at both the people - or Pokémon - before him. A bitter manager lady and a young man who looked like a rainbow had just spewed on him. In response to the manageress cutting in, he nodded in agreement. "Right. A way out." he muttered, still pacing across the cramped store room in thought. "Tomoe, can you still teleport? Meet me at the old Clefairy Daycare on the edge of the city. If you can, send a signal to any other Pokémon in the area. We'll travel safer if we're in a bigger group. I'll be there soon - there's some things I still have to do." Karus said in a steady voice, sounding a lot more relaxed than how he actually felt. This plan might actually work, but they couldn't do it alone. If they were going to succeed, they'd need others. Intending to return very briefly to his private office in the basement of his apartment block, he would take the Pokémon he had been observing - a Meowth and a Roserade - as well as his research. He would burn the rest. If Team Plasma had any ideas as to where they were going, they'd be on their tail.

"Just don't get caught." he said quickly, giving the pair a swift nod, before shutting his eyes. Straining his energy, the scientist frowned and felt his own psychic power begin to seep out through his skin to envelope his human form in a pale glow. With a sound that was very like a twig snapping, he teleported away promptly. Flickering open his eyes again, he was relieved to find that he had successfully teleported to his secret lab. The computer monitor glowed a pale blue, locked with a password. Typing the letters and numbers in, the screen flickered and Karus reached for one of the blank memory pens hanging on a hook on the cork board on the wall. Shoving it into the USB port, he immediately uploaded all the data he would need, promptly wiping the information from the system as he took the pen out and stowed it safely in his pocket. His scans of the Journals were on there, as well as other information that could be potentially useful. Taking the maps down from the wall, he folded them tightly and shoved them into his battered briefcase with some of his other notes. Sitting in on little column-like platforms were two rusting Pokéballs. Shrinking them down, Karus carefully stowed the spheres in his pocket and gave the cramped office a look-over. Taking the last of his money from a back drawer tucked away in the desk, he slid the cash inside his coat. He had everything that they would need. Closing his eyes, he focused his energy again, and a tiny spark caught on the papers still scattered across the desk. Watching as the spark turned to a flame, Karus's jaw tightened and he turned on his heel.

The Kadabra teleported once again, this time ending up at the end of an abandoned street. Sure enough, there was his destination. The Clefairy Daycare was a dilapidated building, and it would be the last place Team Plasma would think to look - or at least, that was what Karus was hoping for. Slipping down the street with his briefcase in his hand, he creaked open the front door of the old building. The place was still intact on the inside, but the Pokémon and people that had lived there had long since moved on. Allowing a quiet sigh of relief, he walked carefully through the building, looking for Tomoe, the manager woman, or anybody else - friend or foe, though preferably friend.

Lavender still worked at the old Clefairy Daycare - inconspicuously; at least, for the most part. It was the perfect place for her. Little to no people, quiet land, but within a reasonable distance to the rest of the city. She could practice her harmonics and record it with little to no distractions. Her close friend (actually an old, sometimes cranky, Miltank) was an editor and also helped to get Lavender's works made into cds and albums. While Lavender wasn't as big as some singers or bands, she was popular enough that she could be walking through the city and have two or three people ask for her signature. She made her music using bits of electricity which she managed to pitch at different frequencies. Her voice was natural and added to the techno-ish music made an interesting combination that people tended to enjoy.

But lately, Lavender has had little to no time or muse for making music - so she's drifted back into one of her other passions; children. Specifically the young Pokémon who are being forced to hide as humans - ever since the liberating began. She allows them to play at the Daycare - and while it doesn't appear safe - Lavender knows otherwise. She keeps a watchful eye out for an passerby's and will immediately rush the children into the old building should she see someone coming close.

Today she had, however, sent the children home early. She caught wind from her Miltank friend that team Plasma was on the move again, liberating Pokémon. Lavender figured the children should be home where it's safer - and in case their families needed to do a quick move from the city, they would have one less member to worry about. Lavender was also thinking about leaving the city, but she wasn't entirely sure where she could go. She had no family and her only friend was Miltank. Where could she go? This was probably the safest place she could find - right?

Lavender plucked at one of the strings to her guitar absent mindedly before she placed it back up against the outside wall of the building and rose to her feet. What to do...what to do... She headed back inside but stopped short when she caught sight a movement of shadows. Much too large to be a child. Lavender thought, pressing herself against the wall. She could only see their back - whomever it was.

She crept forward on her feet, thankful as of now that she was only 5'4, which wasn't very tall for a twenty-four year old woman. Quietly she crept behind him until she was close enough she could stand on the tips of her toes and --

"State your name and business here, stranger." She said coolly, her bare fingers pressed against the back of the intruder's neck. She couldn't see his face so Lavender wasn't entirely sure if he was a friend or not. But there was no way she was going to take that risk. Risk-taking wasn't her style. "And if I believe you; I will release my grip on your neck. If I don't or if you try to make any other move I will shoot enough volts of electricity through your body to knock you clear out until tomorrow evening. I don't deal kindly with members of Team Plasma --"
