Maeve walked behind people at a slow pace in effort to blend in, in order to
reach the dumpsters. The only problem was the workers and owner of the
restaurant both know of Maeve's visits, and they often shoo her away with brooms.
Maeve slipped around the corner after the group of people passed, and walked
alongside the wall until she came up to the dumpster. One lid was propped up
against the wall, aroma of fresh and rotting food alike filling her senses. She
hastily peered in and dipped her muzzle in where she thought would have the
freshest food. She pulled out a chicken leg that was picked at, a bone that still
contained the juices of the meat once on it, and half a can of pineapple slices.
She nudged everything together, wanting to try to take it all back in one go;
but it took three attempts to get the mouthful to fit. She carefully made her
way back down the sidewalk and through the street. She curiously bent her
ears forward to see the male was still watching her from his position that he
didn't seem to leave.

Axle stretched out before replying. "Yes, I am fine. Just a tad sore but that's
not because of you. And don't be sorry about it, just a mishap." His ears
perked forward due to the pesky squirrel coming back for more. Was one brave
squirrel and he gave props to it, and as long as it wasn't bothering anyone, he'd
let it stay. He looked at both Teddy, and Finch before speaking again. "How are
you this fine morning? The sky couldn't be clearer. A nice break from those
overcast clouds we've gotten." His tailed patted the ground, and he was obviously
in a happy mood. He hoped no one would change that since it's hard for him to
be genuinely happy.

Jessie mocked offense, just to entertain the kid. "Well! I have never been called as such in my entire life! How -dare- you speak to me in such a way, pup?"

He lowered his head, mimicing what wolves do, this did make him look more convincing of a wolf. Perhaps he actually had some blood in him, huh. Looks like he's preparing to fight, really? Kids are sooo easy to jump to violence in the city, they should really learn to look before they leap.

"Don't get yourself worked up kid, I just had a lot of food and really aren't in the mood for food right now."

Linx laid down on the hot ground, he was panting heavily as he was over heated and starving. He looked at the fae and looked away quickly, licking his lips he then continued to pant. It felt like a warm blanket was covering his whole body, he had no source of cold food.

Maeve's ears flickered while she passed. She heaped the food items in a small
spot near the bushes. She gave one final glance towards the quiet brute before
nudging the chicken leg, tearing off pieces to keep. She pushed the pieces into
the heap, then carried the chicken leg down towards the male; noticing him lick
his chops hungerily while he gazed at her earlier. She didn't care to get too close
to the stranger, so she compromised and set the meat down on the ground a few
feet away from him. When she dropped it, her eyes looked forward at him, before
backing away, and turning around to take the food to her pack.

Teddy Bear sighed in relief as he smiled gently at the two pack members and nodded as he listened to Finch,"well I am glad to hear that you are,and I hope that you feel a little more better soon Axle." Bear replied in a caring tone as he nodded to Finch and Axle as he was glad to have been talking to such great members in the pack,"I agree about the sky and it is great to not have anymore overcast weather," he replied with a smile as he wagged his big tail gently.

Sailor suddenly got distracted by another dog that was in her pack,Linx seeing him look over heated she whimpered gently and turned to Ares and Shasta to inform them both."Yes lets begin and see where this goes,since Linx looks rather exhausted and hungry," pointed out the fae as she quickly gave a small bark at Linx with a smile.The purebred white shepherd quickly moved along with the great dane and husky mix since they were on a mission,hearing Ares bark for a distraction the fae knew just what to do as she fell to the ground,of course it was all apart of her plan.The sentinel began to whimper as she laid on the ground letting out a few barks here and there for a distraction.

Linx got up slowly and walked towards the meat. Before he grabbed the meat in his jaws, he sniffed it to make sure there wasn't anything funny. He backed away slowly and laid back down. He looked to his left and saw Sailor walking towards him. He split the cold meat in half and walked towards the pure white shepherd and gave her half. He smiled gently at her.

I was dumped into the wild by humans since my mother crossed breeded with a wolf. I was that outcome. I ran farther then any dog that i met could. I found another pack of dogs when I was about 4 years old. I lived, grew, survived with them until I challenged the Alpha. I won and that comes to now.
