I still plan to put more work into the (sorted by what I've worked the least on):
- ♦ Background
- • Where is this crazy person and his pet snake hanging out?
• can he have wings or will that collide with the snake? I think it will. But wings. I need to practice wings too.
• Light needs to match the rest of the image or I will have to redraw the face. I don't want to redraw the face!
- • Suit or no suit?
• Work on whatever I chose
• does the arm look ok?
- • Scales
• Shade
• Venom?
- • I can do better
• What does human hair look like again?
- • Colour variation to make it more realistic
I got tired... it's the middle of the day and I don't like doing things in the middle of the day (worst excuse ever award goes to... not me but at least I got nominated)
Believe it or not I was looking at a picture of a real face when I was making this. (and no it wasn't one of those games were I wasn't looking at what I was drawing, I just can't draw.) So I have no excuse for why he doesn't look more human... and since it's embarrassing you are not allowed to look at the reference picture I used. (Why can't I make him look like on the picture?)
I'm going to leave now, even the picture I made is judging me.
I just wanted to make a face... why are they so hard to make? *sob(not really)*
4 hours, 42 minutes
So now I made some edits. I added a snake. and I removed the fill around his face... now you can see the hair without distractions... I derided to not work more on the face until I knew how well I could make the rest of this image. It's in my head, the concept, not the image... the image is still too blurry to make out in my head... so I gave him a random pose, that I'm not happy with but might go with anyway since I'm strange like that.
What else... I guess I can show you the reference for the snake.

Now I'm tired again so I will leave it alone until something else I have to add right away crashes into my head. It's in the middle of the night now so I have no excuse to be tired of drawing... but my hand hurts... so I guess I can use that as an excuse.
The first drawing session I spent about 2 and a half hours on and on this one I spent about another two hours? I don't know.
5 hours, 7 minutes
I worked a little on the snake. Removed the lines and worked in some lose details. I only worked for 25 minutes so no big changes or anything...
I'm thinking of bumping the topic to the front page since it looks so different from when I first made it public... but I will try to wait till it's done...
