I'm kind of upset after reading some posts on Tumblr about FMA criticism... someone even used "horrendous" to describe some technical things in Brotherhood... and someone else criticized people who liked it because the ending was happy... I need some internet-hugs... I want to still like FMAB... ;-;
In the meanwhile, I'll watch some React and Game Theory to take my mind off it.

Thanks! I have that with the Unorthodox Trinity of Zelda a lot as well. I've seen hate for those three so much it's no longer terrifying, I just think "oh, he overhates the DS games, that happens a lot" instead.

Is it a good review or a bad review? On YouTube, I only really watch video game stuff, FMA funny montages, video game and FMA music, some abridged series and TheFineBros.

I myself haven't watched that particular review, but I haven't seen one of their anime reviews which wasn't entertaining. They watch the first two episodes of an anime, tell the camera what they think and what they understood, and if they would continue the series.

The fans who love the 2003 series, and HATE Brotherhood, not only say that the latter had no heart, but that the ending was cliche, Disney-esque, and totally unrealistic!

That's right. Just because Brotherhood had a happy ending--compared to the Ending of Conqueror of Shamballa--they pretty much demonize it for being unrealistic; and they compare to the real world, where people don't always get what they want and not every conflict has a happy ending...

I don't know what's more insane... The fact that they dare to drag "REALISM" into an anime discussion, or the fact that they seem to HATE the idea of seeing the Elric brothers HAPPY!

Agreed. A happy ending is not a bad ending, Tumblr. The rabid side of the internet's opinions needn't affect my own.
