Kestrelflame purred, rubbing his cheek against Dirtstride's cheek quickly. "Will you be my mate, then? And we tell the clan after the fire?"

Patches watched. "What's life like as a clan cat?"

Mistkit looked up "It is the best thing ever. You defend your clan, even at the cost of you life. The apprentices are the ones that get trained, to hunt, and to fight. In other words, It is a great thing!"

"Why would cats kill each other like that? And clans cats actually don't mind getting killed, just to be a warrior-whatever?" Patches stared in awe.

Kestrelflame smiled, purring. He almost forgot about the fire.

"Cats kill so they keep their territories, which means they will kill to protect loved ones. They do mind getting killed, they hate when cats are killed." Mistkit replied

Dirtstride looked around "Wait, Stormstar still hasn't came back...."

Stormstar inhaled too much smoke. He was laying on the ground, his breath becoming shallower and shallower.

Patches twitches his ears. "There's a cat nearby. He's dying."

"He's probably somewhere sheltering with Mistkit. Stormstar would know to find somewhere safe with this much smoke...." Kestrelflame frowned. He didnt want to risk his new mate's life.

Cherrypaw finally made her way to the lake and began pacing along the bank. While pacing, she became lost in thought and slipped in. It was shallow enough for her to sit and only come up to her chest. "It's cold in here." She mewed after spitting out some water.

Mistkit looked over "THATS MY LEADER!!! she bounded out and grabbed Stormstar by the scruff, she dragged him in the den
"Do you have any herbs?"

Dirtstride "Are you sure we shouldn't go look' She looked into his eyes

Adderstripe wanted to go look for Stormstar but she couldn't leave the clan. she looked around to se if she could spot him

Forestpaw bounded over to Cherrypaw grabbed her by the scruff and lifted her out of the water "You ok?"

Cherrypaw shook out her fur. "Yea, I'm fine, just cold. Thanks." She mewed and licked her ear, drawing it over her ear.
