Limited # of newborns you can adopt

i understand too, it may take a while, but soon the newer players, like me, will have the same chances of getting rare pets as any other player, and this place wont be crouded with too many pets, or unwanted pets, or players with too many rare pets while others have none. poor unwanted pets.....

I personally love the idea.
Its quite juicy really, this whole thing. xD

I mean, before it was easy enough to get any pet you wanted.
But now, you will actually have to work for it in one way or another.
Its good for everyone really, it will certainly keep us all from getting bored thats for sure.
It will help Tess too, as well as boosting the "econemy" of the website.

I cant wait to see how this all works out in the coming months. ^^

I noticed the new rule this morning when I was adopting Generation two pups and was only getting three variations of the new litter.... lol
It's a pretty fair rule, I think. I used to only adopt one of each pet, (That's how I got Emeraldgaze! See, rares are still obtainable. ^*^) but then I adopted, six, and then twelve, one litter I adopted twenty of, and now back to ten.

Well I think it's a good idea. Then people won't be spending all their time adopting. It becomes almost like a business thing without a limit. This is all for us to have fun right? Now we can stop stressing over if we have all the different kinds or not. Yay Tess!

On the contruary I will be stressing 10 times more about getting rares and such. If I don't have a complete collection I don't have a collection at all. Atleast that is how I feel. Also if Tess reads this. If we adopted before the limit will the getting a rare rate still be low? Also what if you already have ten and someone gives you one will it automaticly be deleted or taken away? Like will the trading and adopting still work and such? I know lots of questions but I am confuzzled...

I guess I can understand how the collectors feel. Personally though I enjoy collecting the ones I find useful for my characterizations/stories of them

But yes, those are interesting questions. Will the past Nov pups we adopted have the same rareness rate now? I kind of doubt it, since the ones we adopted are already adopted, but I'd like to know the answer for sure ^^

That's really uncool, to me... I had no idea that would happen. Otherwise I never would've deleted my doubles.

Me too. I'm sorry if I sound whiny at all, because that's not my intention.. but I don't like this new rule at all. It really is bad that people adopt billions of pets.. but now, guess what? Those people have ruined it for everyone.

I really do agree with you! Now we will never have all the ones we need. :/ I'm not mad, just quite disappointed.

I just wanted to add that we already work hard enough trying to collect all the pets we need. Now it will be harder---harder to the point where it is no fun anymore, just stressful.

The november pets still have wonky probabilities on them... I'll try and revert them back to normal standards today


all I can say is, if you haven't already used up your 10 adoptions (i.e., haven't adopted since the new limit came in) I'd recommend saving those adoptions til I've fixed the probabilities, cause then you'll be more likely to get something useful out of it


for trading pets after you already have 10 from one adoptable - no, no pets will be automatically deleted etc. It's not a record of how many you HAVE its a record of how many you have adopted from the site. So if you adopt 10 from the site, you can't adopt more even if you delete some, but if other people send you some it doesn't matter.


I'll work on getting some new adoptables up with normal probabilities so you guys can see it in action...
