For me mangas and animes don't have to be japanese to be true. I'm also fine with chinese, korean or really any other. I think it's just a certain style. For me cartoons are things like Donald Duck and Simpsons, things that have comedy as the main theme and mostly not that much of a story (new story from episode to episode). I think Avatar is very well made and can be compared to other animes.

It's a game called Solatorobo. Which needs to be an anime. It was made by the same company as .hack!

Speaking of Korean stuff, this isn't 100% on-topic, but are there any manga reader websites where manhwa get their own category? I've seen manwha mentioned on MangaFox but I'm not sure how easy it will be to find them.

It's for DS; it is also apparently really hard to find in America, or something. I don't buy games off the internet, but I suppose you could look at an online store.

You could read manhwa by Hwang Mi-ri, there a quite a few, though I think all of them are romance stories (read a few).
Baka-updates can probably help. You can only look for webtoons on mangafox, there also quite nice one, though the quality on mangafox is bad, they should better be read on batoto. Divine Melody is a nice chinese manhua by the way.

Has anyone seen The Sunday without God?
I loved it so much and then there was episode 3.... Not sure if I'm going to continue this series... I was so excited because I had finally found something that grabbed my attention. I haven't had that in a good while, but now... I'm not sure what to do with myself anymore.

Why can't I just find an anime that has a ton of action, suspense, and a kick-butt male main character? Those aren't really specific specifications, but I just can't find an anime that will hook me anymore. *sigh
