Raincloud looked his leader in the eye. "She had an accident in the woods. It seems she doesn't remember anything...." he trailed off.

Silverfern was startled and quit hurt at the leader's mean and snappy reaction. She curled up around her kits, lonely as ever.

Emberheart still stood, not knowing if she was welcome or not.

Archfeather soon gave a welcoming smile as thunder clapped in the distance, the warning of a rainstorm to be. "Hi Emberheart!" she said.

Silverwing scuffed his paw one last time then looked at the sky, slowly following the expance of dark blue to the dawning horizon.

"What's up?" Emberheart asked, sitting down.

"Oh, not much," Archfeather said with a content sigh.

Silverwing glanced at Emberheart. He wasnt one to talk much. He didnt want to let it slip that he did not enjoy Clan life all that much.

Mistyway felt her grey pelt burn with shame and embarassment. She lowered her head and hoped to sneak off.

OOC - Dovepaw died while giving birth to her kits, and shortly after that Silverwing (Scamps' character) gave birth to her kits. If I remember correctly, Snakefang's out in the forest somewhere, grieving for his daughter. Dovepaw's sister, Mistyway (RP'ed by Rosalind) turned up in camp, and is now being helped by Raincloud (another one of Scamps' characters). Murkypaw completed her hunting assessment, and is now in deep thought about how Dovepaw died and how stupid the other apprentice's choices were. :D

Cometfern sat in the warrior's den, rigid and deep in thought. She found it impossible that a respectable young she-cat like Dovepaw could have died. Now, a single question ran through her mind, as she padded towards the nursery den. "Did the kits survive?" She wondered where Murkypaw could have gone, but she knew that her apprentice was responsible and easy to trust, so she focused on the death of the young queen. She wanted to mourn for her, but something held her back. Maybe it was regret, perhaps it was understanding? She did not know the feeling that tugged at her, but something was holding her back.

OCC: What iSheep didn't say is that Mistyway had an accident out in the forest and she cannot remembering anything at all.

Silverfern looked at the poor kits that were just sitting on the moss, crying. She knew that since she had eaten many hours ago, she now had some milk. Her kits were sleeping, they'd already nursed. So she genially picked up the kits and placed them by her stomach. If they don't want me to take care of them, she thought, then so be it. But until they take the kits to another mother, I will not let them die. They may even say I can take them in. She looked down on them, licking their heads like they were her own.
