37 so far, but there'll probably be about ten-fifteen more when the third season comes out in July.

The second season is really quite confusing, but the first one isn't so much.

If the anime isn't finished yet... how old is it? I *think* I might have seen it mentioned on PF1 a long time ago, but I might just be misremembering thing.

The manga started in 2006 and gets a new chapter every month.

The anime's first season was in 2008, and was going to be the only season, then two years later after the fan's repeated requests came the second season. Now the third season is coming out in July ^-^

Apparently there's going to be a BB anime more closely based on the manga or something...?

Also, I just realized that both FMAs end with picture montages, although the Conqueror of Shamballa one was to make you cry over the boys while Mangahood's showed everyone's happy endings a few years down the line. Am I slow?

What are some of the saddest anime moments in your opinion?
That's a hard question since I tend to be quite emotional about movies/animes/mangas/books/games. If the scene is made well, I'm even sad about a break up, even if I reread/rewatch such scenes. I read many tragedy and emitional mangas.
Grave of the Fireflies is a very sad ghibli movie.
I was also sad about H. in FMA, even through I knew it before and I stopped watching it for a while.
I like Death Note because of some amazing scenes, but I still need to watch some episodes, but I kinda don't want to, because of the deaths.
Full Moon wo Sagashite and Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne have sad scenes and even Pretty Cure has.
Nadia and the Secret of Blue Water as well and No.6 and Blood+
And Ai no Kusabi (yaoi)
I guess there are actually not that many anime, that don't have at least one or two sad/emotional scenes.

Some of my favourite sad/emotional mangas are:
Cubism Love
Hajimari No Niina
I'm a demon, she is a wife (mix between emotional and comedy)
Divine Melody
Dong Meng
Pinocchio
Nowhere Boy
Millenium Snow

Maware Kazaguruma
Koi Kyokusei
Ten Kara no Okurimono
Heaven's Door
Yume Kurai
Kigi no Yukue
Kon no Ki Konoha
Forever Honey
Monster and Child
Toumei na Sekai
Rasen no Kioku
Yumenara Samenaide
Ibara no Majutsushi

I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

Am I the only one who plays the Harvest Moon games? The anime art style is amazing and they're always so detailed~

(This is excluding the first few games, they were quite simple and the art style wasn't detailed at all because, you know, SNES' and Gameboys are very 8-bitty)
