Gopher yawned,taking a walk in the woods again.He knew that he would have to stop because he was old,but oh well.He walked along,scenting the air like he used to while hunting.Then he heard yowling.The elderly tom ran as fast as his legs could carry him,and saw the pelts of two cats fighting.But one.......was Sparrowcall! He burst through the bushes,hissing and spitting at the other she cat.I need to help her,he thought.

Sparrowcall didn't notice Gopher as she leapt back, to avoid claws.
