Strike hissed, taking his claws across Modnightpaw's muzzle, then knocking Sootpaw into her, making both of the apprentices stumble. He whirled. "DAUGHTER!" He yowled, leaping at her with outstretched claws.

"I'm sorry," Moonglow mewed quickly. "I'm just so...confused."

Silverspots let out a battle cry and lurched in front of Echo suddenly, guarding her from her cruel father, lashing out his unsheathed claws at Strike

Echo gasped, she looked at the cat who guarded her.
Blackshade heard something.

Silverspots braced himself for pain, teeth clenched, oh StarClan

Echo closed her eyes, trying to tune her ears, it felt like 30 cats were around her.

Strike did not falter. He easily knocked Midnightpaw away and darted to the side of Silverspots, then behind him to his real prey. His claws slid along Echo's side.
