Penumbra glided through the sky, staring down at the frozen landscape below. He saw no signs of dragons, but stared down nonetheless. His wings sparkled lightly against the dark sky as he soared around.

snowflake shook herself making her scales shimmer. her warm eyes watched the horizon. she also watched the sky for approaching danger, friends, or food.

Penumbra spotted something shimmer against the snow down below. Spotting Snowflake, he decided to land. A little small talk with a hopefully friendly dragon never hurt anyone. He landed in front of her and bowed his head. "Greetings," he said, trying not to seem like a threat.

snowflake watched the nightwing land. she was happy to have someone to talk to. "hello, i'm snowflake." i said to him happily. I dug my claws deeper into the ice to grip it better.

Penumbra smiled to the other dragon, seeing she was friendly. "Penumbra at your service, madam!" he said with another nod. "Pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

"and yours." snowflake said. her kind eyes glimmered with happiness. she shook her scales once more making them glimmer again. she breathed her freezing cold breath into the air and as it fell back down it created crystals in the air. the crystals turned making rainbows all around them.

He leaped to his feet, roaring and applauding. "Yes!!" His tail lashed with enthusiasm, hitting the dragon next to him. The Skywing snarled and backed up, his eyes shooting daggers at Drexel. "Oops..Sorry!" Drexel said, and his tail went limp.

Penumbra sat down in the snow and curled his tail up around his front claws. "So," he said, trying to strike up a conversation. "Know any good hunting spots around here?" he finished, realizing he was a bit hungry.
