Mana Geared Hyenas share the same anatomy as the ordinary hyenas, however they are born with
metal intertwined around their left forearm. The metal contains two gems embedded into it and
the Hyenas use it as a controller for their mana. Each hyena contains the magic of one of
the four basic elements, fire, water, air and earth. Their left paws contain the
ability to use these given powers, which can be very destructive. However, the Hyenas will
only use their powers when threatened. Any abuse of power is punished by blackening the gems in
their metal gear, rendering their powers useless with no chance of re-obtaining them.

Oh wow I really love how this boy turned out, so tempted to keep him, but I'll be nice and let someone else have him <3

Anyways, I'll be very picky with this form. I want to be impressed with the small form you have to work with. I really want to see a unique and vivid personality developed for him and a foreign name with a meaning that suits him. That's just what I would like to see though, feel free to do something simpler or more complex. Now for the form;

Well. Truthfully.
Jester is a
rather logical
guy. He writes
true music pieces -
from the heart ,
and in using one
paw he creates
true works of art.
Most girls will
obsess over
him - loving
his mature nature.
Most times he'll
stick with them
for awhile before
leaving.. no girl
has tamed his
wild nature yet.
Sometimes... he
thinks he'll be
first hyena to
acutally spread
sense around the
world. He has
beautiful creative
songs waving
around the planet.
Logically he's
famous yet ...
when crowds
swarm him
he'll growl loud
enough to be
heard over the
crowd. Quickly
they'll shut up
and form a walk

The hyena stared
at him before
scampering off
and coming
back momentarily
with three ,
thick sheets
of paper. Snatching
it out of his
assistant's mouth
with his own
maw he flicked
his tail and
she left. Carefully
he sat down on
the shiny marbol
and put both paws
in front of him -
the sheets of
paper in front of
his face - words
written in fine
blue ink on the
sheet. Not having
portable ; moving
fingers .. making
music was hard
on a piano... yet
his paws were a
decent size and
could play notes
without moving
fingers. Growling
he started his
song off - his
tired , stressed eyes
more focused on
the keys and
ears focused on
the volume
of the
notes he
played rather
then the thick ,
blue ink. Jester
practiced for
hours - nobody
in the British
temple
disturbed him ,
not even the
assistant -
having Jester
using their
instruments
was a huge
honor - nobody
wished to ruin it.

( no meaning really to the name itself, but because of his markings, I ha to go with one of my favorite classical composers. Though I threw in a little twist on his name. His name is based on the brass or woodwind markings and on the musical staff of his pelt than a meaning behind the name.)

You know, they say that we all have a special talent that each and every one of us is born with. For some, they may never discover that hidden talent...but for others, it comes naturally...
"Mozart! Quit that racket and come over here this instant!" A males voice could be heard booming throughout the morning. The little he yens quickly scurried towards his father as fast as his legs would take them. He dropped his ears at the lecture and punishment he knew would be coming. "I thought I told you that you will never become anything by playing and singing music." The old hyena male literally growled the word like it was rotten road kill. He hated music of any kind and kept with the belief that only fools messed around in the "useless racket".
"I love music, father. And nothing will change my mind about that. I'm destined to become something great if I stick to music!" The young hyena said as he stated his father down. He was tired of the way his father disowned him because of his hobby. He loved to write, sing and play music, especially classical. He would constantly sneak off to write what was flowing through his heart. Now, mind you, hyenas couldn't hold a pen like we do, but he wrote the music using a unique system using his paw prints. Several years passed and though his father died, Mozart became famous for one of his masterpieces. And still today, his music is famous and heard all over the world!

Granville Mackenzie

Granville is a French surname meaning "Large Town." I chose this name because it has presence, it commands respect without being too ostentatious. And the surname, Mackenzie, I chose because it gives a different and unique sound to his name. Combined with his first name it conjures images of a mysterious, debonair gentleman. Don't you think?

Granville is that one MGH that stays to the corner of the room, everyone knows his name, but not much else. Some perceive him as dangerous, mysterious, and unpredictable, others see him as suave, chivalrous, and respectable. And in truth, he is all these things. Who he is can be affected by the people he is around. If he is among friends he tends to be more open and relaxed, though that isn't much considering his idea of "relaxing" is breathing slightly deeper. If he in out in public he tends to be very tense and ornery, and rarely speaks. He is a hyena of few words, he tends not to speak unless spoken to and replies with only a few sentences or words even. Granville is at his happiest when he is by himself, when he can think, read, and do something productive without the distraction company brings.
